The realtor we were buying the house from, countered our offer and then he countered back. We accepted his offer, signed the contract and then he countered His counter!!!! The rate was higher than the listing price!!!
I was getting ready to send 1k earnest money when we got the news. Every Realtor I've spoke with has never heard of a Realtor countering his own counter. He did not want an inspection done! But the VA will not give a loan without it. Our hearts were set on this house it's right next to our children. Ivan Bowman has a lot to learn about real-estate

As we decided to put our home on the market in September of this year. We called Julie Arthur of MKB, as I had seen a her sign in a yard of another home in Salem for sale. ( that home sold very fast) From the moment I spoke with Julie on the phone, to the day she met with my husband and I. Julie was nothing but professional, knowledgeable and the kindness person you ever wanted to meet.As she went over the details of listing a home and giving us great pointers for the listing. When we finally decided to list the home she made arrangements for a professional photographer to come and take pictures ( TOTALLY AMAZING) we listed our house and within 12 hrs we had a full price, cash offer with settlement within 30 days! Everything went totally smooth from home inspection to the day of settlement! If you are looking for an agent, Julie Arthur is the one that will be by your side. Brandon W was simply THE BEST realtor I’ve ever had. He made the process super simple, and followed my whim when I wanted to be let in about 50 different houses. He was exceedingly responsive, always available and represented MKB Realtors very well. We did almost everything electronically and he drew up papers and fixed errors promptly and without complaint. He’s very knowledgeable, personable, and honest. I felt at ease with him. He’s not afraid to tell you the truth about the house you’re viewing! Well done; should I need real estate help again, he will be my go-to.

We referred an important client to them and they did a horrible a job representing them . A total nightmare and they were fully aware of who we were dealing with with/ So disappointing. As a Realtor referring them a customer I'm very upset that they took such poor care of my referral. I hope other agents beware. Don't deal with this agency!

Dana Berenbaum and her sidekick Kim Booth just sold my home in Salem VA. It was a totally painless process. Dana and Kim held my hand every step of the way and helped me navigate the sea of offers and services we needed to make this happen. I always felt informed and respected throughout the entire process. They know the Salem market and the buyers in this area. Their expertise was invaluable. And they were/are completely trustworthy. I am eternally thankful that they took me under their wing and treated me like family. You won’t regret seeking Dana and Kim when you sell your house.

Josh did a wonderful job assisting us buy our first home. He was friendly and helpful and was always available to answer questions, took us on multiple tours, always kept us in the loop in communication between lender and seller, and was always sure to explain the difficult ins and outs of home buying. Worked with Alison O'Brien as our Buyer's agent. Did an excellent job for us. Knowledgeable, easy to work with, kept us informed during the buying process, answered our many questions. With our preparation and Alison handling the bidding process, we went under contract on the first (and only) home we bid on. Also worth noting: When I was in MKB's lobby and the front desk employee had stepped out to handle some work, another employee who entered the lobby or saw me from their office would offer and did help me. MKB employees are obviously trained not to ignore a client in the lobby, instead offer to help. A 5-Star experience with Alison O'Brien and MKB employees in general.

I wanted to give 0 star if I could. The agent Jessica farmer we used was awful. Didn’t represent us at all. So many misinformation and lead to many problems. She is not knowledgeable at all . My bank confirmed her lack of knowledge in real estate and can’t believe she is in the business. Snippy attitude at times. She doesn’t care about her clients expect her commission fees. We gave this agency a second chance, they failed us miserably. We used this agency twice, we should have followed our instincts on the second time. Will NEVER use again. Push you for higher price than the property actually worths
