I rented 1005 E La Jolla in Palm Springs, California for the month of February, 2019. Modvacations at the time was called Moderne Vacations. In those 30 days I had about 50 different problems with the rental home. Because of a health condition, I wanted the pool set at 89 degrees; I notified them when I rented the home, 60 days prior to arrival, 30 days prior to arrival and 7 days prior to arrival. The pool was at 76 degrees when I arrived (very disappointed). There was no pool heat for a total of 7.5 days.

Other assortment of problems:

- Water leaking from kitchen sink
- Dishwasher broke and had to be replaced
- Master shower flooded twice
- Stained and torn furniture and pillows
- 3 duvets had dirt and filth on them
- Front doorbell never worked (missed several deliveries)
- Atrium door wall leaked
- No rear landscape lighting
- Pool and spa lighting worked intermittently
- No lighting in carport
- Large cockroach killed in guest bathroom
- BBQ greasy and rusted out
- Rust stains, chipped paint around door wall
- Return air vents clogged with dirt and dust
- 3 Foot tear in mattress cover
- Vacuum didn't function (was clogged with dirt and hair)

I made roughly 50 phone calls, texts or emails to this management company. Plumbing leaks, clogged drains and the replacement of dishwasher were resolved quickly. I continued to have pool heating and lighting problems through the last week of my stay.

DO NOT STAY AT: 1005 E. La Jolla, Palm Springs, California.
