The company itself is immaculate and everyone I have encountered goes above and beyond for services, but Emma Kiser is one of the most unprofessional, careless, immature realtors/ landlords I have ever encountered in the years of leasing a property. We got offered to move into a property back in April 2024 due to her upcoming purchases of rental properties and to help her get it fixed up for profit. I offered to paint the rental property for a payment so I knew the house was going to get done on time and to help save her money, so I thought. During the next few months she brought me to the property and walked me through and was telling me everything that needed to be done. She had her babies father and his dad employed to do the work and they were having issues which unsettled my husband and I, due to all the slandering comments she made about them, but we went along with it and stayed out of the drama. During the next few months nothing was progressing and time was running out for the house to get done and us move in. We expressed these concerns and were promised it would get done. July 31st came around for us to move in and the house was not done like stated. We had no where to live at this point and were told to go ahead and sign the lease and promised it would be done in the next week. Come to find out she fired these workers and the whole time was not communicating what actually needed to be done. There were leaks all over the house and it took months for her to respond to these issues. The vanity in our bathroom was leaking so bad, and we had made this aware before we moved in, it caused a musty smell so bad to the point it was in the living room. I started to wake up with my eyes burning and itching, a stuffy nose, and a burning chest. We ended up getting our family members in to start renovating the property because of not getting any responses/ answers from her. I contacted the previous contractors and they told me there was mold in the house that was made aware to her that was not told to us by her. I found numerous mold areas and went to get the home mold test and the results started to come in within a few hours. I asked her to get an inspector in here because it was getting unbearable. We found out I was pregnant and I did home test I got sent to me from a Doctor for mycotoxin, that is deadly to the health of your child, yourself, and animals. I reached out after the inspector came for the mold reports my doctors had been requesting so I could proceed to make sure everything was okay. She never responded to me about the reports or getting anything handled. I had expressed this is getting out of hand and the fact the house is still not fully repaired and we cant utilize half of the house since it was deemed unsafe/ unfinished. We were limited on areas we could try to avoid due to this. We then called the to tell her property manager and she started to get hostile with us about anything we brought to her attention and finally yelled at my husband that money was an issue to get things fixed. After I addressed to Emma that her mom, the property manager, doesn’t need to be speaking to us that way, they never responded to any concerns we had and ended up having to terminate the lease. This entire situation was extremely neglectful and careless. She put many people at risk of extreme health issues and only responded when I started to tell her it was getting to the point of being illegal and had been reaching out to lawyers about what to do. We had been friends since we were kids and for her to put us in such a dangerous situation and not have any urgency to make sure we were safe makes me fear for whoever else she deals with publicly. I wouldn’t trust her with a rental property due to how much money we spent out of pocket with no remorse much less what she could be neglecting to tell home buyers to make a profit.
