Horrible company you will be better off with no insurance.Been with them 17 years when hurricane hit last of September they were fast to drop you after you made a claim. The rudest people I have had to deal with and this was my 1st claim in my life I ever had to make on insurance Had to pay out of my own pocket for damages I guess it was 17 years of giving away money to them

This is the most absolute awful insurance I have had. I tried to make an insurance claim and whoever they have contracted to do the adjustments told us to fix the issue with duct tape. We then got a notice of cancelation with no legitimate reason as to why they were canceling my house insurance. I would not recommend this company to absolutely anyone.

Old agent we’ve been with for over 15 years sold his books to another company under municipal and retired. My wife is a travel nurse and currently in we are in Nc and go back and forth regularly. Had a problem with the house and made a claim. 2nd claim in 15 years…Weeks after the claim and not hearing anything back we received a letter that our insurance was being canceled since we don’t occupy the home everyday and that our claim had been denied. Called the new agent and was hung up on. Basically they don’t wanna pay out for the fix on an insurance policy we’ve been paying on for over 14 years and used this as an excuse in my opinion to not pay out. I will also be calling the WV attorney generals office and filing a complaint.

It has been absolutely hellacious trying to get Municipal Mutual to help us after our home flooded. They NEVER answer the phone, and when they do they have extremely poor customer service. I had to report them to the OIC just to get a call back 2 WEEKS after my home was ripped apart. We have paid them for 3 years since buying our home and this is the first disaster we’ve had. I refuse to give them another dime. We will soon be switching companies.

This company does not take care or care for their customers, they recommend a roofing company to us that did us wrong to the amount of $10,000 out of our pocket and refuse to make it right. We DO NOT recommend this company for your dog house.

After 14 yrs. and no claims this lousy company canceled my homeowners because I wasn't a full time resident. I had never been a full time resident and they knew that. They have not returned my premium and I intend to contact the WV Insurance commision.
