The staff was just wonderful and helpful. The location was good about 2 hours from Sequoia National Park. We stayed for two nights, and the room was clean and comfortable. Needs a little bit of update to the rooms and breakfast was bare bone, but good. A great price for the nights. The ADA compliant room was very good for our disabled friend. Roll-in shower, good height for sink and dresser, plenty of security bars, and remotes for TV and heating.

Room was clean just the sink and bath was old. Service was excellent! Breakfast room was super clean and the guy in the front is really friendly. Place is pretty safe. I was so scared my car was going to be broken into but it was just how I left it. Overall very quiet and safe.

Hotel staff were very polite and courteous. We requested a king, non-smoking room on the lower level and got it. Other than the new tv and the king bed, there's not much more to say on a positive note. Opened the door to a strong flowery fragrance that we couldn't get rid of. The window had been painted shut with the paint that missed the walls. Painting job was horrible with splattered paint on furniture and bathroom fixtures. Phone didn't work since we tried to call the front desk to request a channel guide and to tell the smoke alarm was broken. Afraid to use toilet, it didn't flush properly. We did go to the front desk to notify them and were told to call an 800#. We will not be back

Staff and service were amazing very kind during every interaction. Room felt really clean. Amenities were good quality too. Great value too. Amazing cost to quality ration. Only complaint is that our room had some bandaid repairs like duck tape over holes and such

We stayed in the suite and it was really nice. Had a fridge and everything. Beds were super comfy and it's clean. The free breakfast and coffee was a great thing for my family of 5. Had bagles, cereal,oatmeal, and sweets. Plus free wifi

Please don't be fooled by the photos shown online. This place is in desperate need of repairs and major improvements. Our room was beyond depressingly awful. Everything was old, mismatched, and the chairs were stained and dirty. The mattress was very hard and we were nervous about bed bugs. The a/c vents were broken and blew right onto the bed and we couldn't change the direction. We had to put a chair in front of the vents to block the air flow so we could sleep. The fridge worked, so that was a plus. The breakfast options consisted of white bread, Oreos, chocolate chip cookies, Frosted Flakes and Fruit Loops, and packaged muffins. Some healthier options are much needed.

This is the most basic motel so don't expect anything more. We have stayed at a couple hotels in this area and all have been pretty bad. Next time, we will drive closer to Bakersfield and hopefully find something nicer. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Very convenient location, right off HWY 5. The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful, Very nice and helpful. The room is a little dated but clean and comfortable. The shower water pressure is a little weak but didn't expect anything else, this is California. Breakfast was simple but good. The coffee is excellent, with a couple of brands. Impressive. I would stay here again.

For the location, this motel is very nice. It's extremely convenient being located adjacent to the "five". Decent food options with two good restaurants in the area and a few fast food options. Fuel options abundant!

The pool was refreshing and surprisingly quiet. The jacuzzi was not operational so I can't comment. I liked the nautical feel.
