The best co-working space! I’ve been to many co-working centers around the world and of them all, NextSpace Santa Cruz is the absolute best. The friendliest, best equipped, with the best staff of any co-working space I’ve worked at.

My husband and I came here to work for a month because of the great reviews, and pleased to say the super reviews are well deserved.

There is plenty of space, including quiet areas, and a friendly and studious vibe. Lots of great food (including bananas, oatmeal and pastries for breakfast), free coffee and drinks, a fridge where you can store your lunch, a separate podcast room and meeting rooms you can request the use of, extra leads and cables if you forget one or a charger one day.

But most importantly the staff is super friendly, on it. Harlen and Ashleigh are super and always willing and able to help. I agree with those reviews who said the best part is the community. A great set of people with a productive vibe, and a superb space. Couldn’t recommend more!

I've been a member since 2020 and have really enjoyed this space. There are always desks to work at, space to take private calls and the daily/monthly programming makes this place fun. I would highly recommend the Santa Cruz office to anyone locally.

Nextspace has the best setup I've seen for coworking. An open plan where you can talk without being shushed yet can still hear and be heard in your virtual meeting with plenty of smaller rooms to jump into for private conversations. There are plenty of well hosted and interesting social events and always good coffee, tea and food. Best, the kind hosts will take great care of you!

The staff is absolutely friendly, helpful, always ready to assist with a big smile. The layout is super confortable, unbeatable location in Downtown Santa Cruz, great coffee and snacks, and lovely vibes.

My family of 4 (plus 2 guinea pigs) pack up our RV and move to Santa Cruz for the summer to escape the brutal Texas heat, and I am so grateful to have discovered this gem of a workspace.

Harlan and Ashley are truly the best people on earth! They were welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely caring, always going above and beyond to customize the space to meet individual needs. Whether it was parking suggestions, local recommendations, secure bike parking, extra monitors, or a variety of work setups, they had it all covered. Walking in every day and connecting with Harlan on a personal level set such a positive tone for my day.

Plus! Ya'll, the community here is legit! Beyond the incredible staff, every member was warm, engaging, and supportive, which made my experience even better. From snacks and drinks to fun happy hours, this space created such a positive work environment. I can't wait to return next summer—Nextspace Santa Cruz, you’ve got a customer for life!

The most underrated part of a coworking space is the community. NextSpace in downtown Santa Cruz is an excellent spot that blends community, entrepreneurship, collaboration, and fun.

Awesome Coworking space with kind and friendly community of people! Adam the community manager is a class act and super welcoming / east going. Was planning to just stay in Santa Cruz for a night but ended up staying an extra night on my road trip cause this space so great!
