Nick was great. I listed my Castro Valley home for sale with him and found he not only knew the market, but the neighborhood as well.

Nick Asturias helped us sell my mother-in-law's home. We lived out of town, but Nick did everything: organizing and holding an estate sale, hiring a gardener to take care of the lawn, making sure the house was secure when it was vacated, got the inside of the house professionally cleaned, put it on the market, staged the house so it would get a better price, and got a plumbing problem resolved with the new buyer. Nick was there for all of the inspections. For all of this work, we expected to pay extra, but he only charged the standard commission; all of the rest of his time and effort was, as he said, "just part of the sale." Nick is very knowledgeable of the area and knows what buyers want. He was easy to get ahold of, and was always very pleasant and kind.

We were very lucky to have Nick in our corner.
Our first buyer backed out at the last minute and he got on it right away and he had the backup buyer ready to go, so we would not lose the house we were buying.

First and foremost I would like to say when choosing Nick as your realtor you are not just getting a realtor to help you through what can be a very stressful time, you are getting someone who can do just about anything. A man of many talents to say the least. He can do most everything when it comes to construction work, electrical, plumbing, repairs, hauling things away for you, recommending people, or even just listening to you vent about your concerns with the process and giving you his best, most honest advice. It took my husband and I a long time to figure out our plan as far as selling / buying etc and Nick patiently stood by us in the going back and forth process we put him through. EVERY time I wanted to see a house or had a question Nick made it happen almost instantly. Any question I had Nick was able to explain it to me to where I completely understood and felt comfortable with my decisions. I used Nick to buy my house. It's been a great experience working with him. From the time I saw the house to the time I moved in, it's been seamless to say the least. What sets Nick apart is his knowledge of bay area's housing market and his experience in this market. Needless to say that Nick's professionalism throughout this process was top notch. To give you an example, after we submitted an offer, I developed cold feet and chose to back out (after all buying a house is a big decision).
