I met Nonnie at an open house in 2005, when we were “just looking” in our dream neighborhood in San Mateo. We weren’t actively ready to buy our next home or to sell our existing home in San Mateo. A few days later I reached out to Nonnie about the possibility of a contingent offer on her listing and we decided to roll the dice and make an offer. Nonnie represented us on the offer, in addition to representing the Seller, and despite this sensitive situation she made it happen…our contingent offer was accepted! We had 14 days to receive an offer on our existing home and Nonnie jumped into action to help get our home ready to market in record time. With her extensive contacts in the industry, she had our home ready to show in one week resulting in multiple offers over asking price, allowing us to close on both homes within 30 days. Nonnie’s professionalism, while representing multiple clients in both transactions, and her ability to keep both transactions moving in the right direction was extremely admirable.
Fast forward 14 years, it was time for us to relocate out of the Bay Area and sell our home. Of course, with her expertise of our neighborhood and the real estate market in general, we turned to Nonnie to list our San Mateo home. Despite the challenge of our home’s close proximity to a freeway, Nonnie was successful in procuring an offer, one that was similar to our 2005 transaction, as it was a contingent offer where the buyer had not yet listed their home to sell. While the buyer had their own agent representation, their agent was not as seasoned as Nonnie. She used her years of experience and valuable mentoring skills to guide their agent along the way and assist behind the scenes on their sale, even though she was not part of that listing. Their sale closed timely and successfully, and they were able to close on our home a few days later.
I would highly recommend Nonnie to handle your real estate needs, on the sale side, the buying side, or both! Her level of professionalism and expertise in many different markets and with different challenges is beyond beneficial to making your real estate transaction a successful and positive experience.
