Just want to take a minute to publicly(to ford)thank my Service technician David from @northbayford for being awesome and going above and beyond on my service today. He had heard me tell Wayne of my past nightmare service experiences @thefordstoremh , @frontierford , and @pricefordofturlock and made sure to do a full inspection on my @fordbronco for me.

Apparently none of these shops have even looked at my air filters even though I paid for that service. I was made aware that the air filters (cabin & engine) were still factory after almost 30k miles! Even after 4+ “oil services” that included inspection and replacement if needed.

One of the @ford service providers “couldn’t repeat the issue” after I showed service agent my Bronco doing exactly what I brought it in for multiple visits in their driveway.

The other @ford service provider had my Bronco for 2+months, after say 2-3weeks tops, for a Technical Service Bulletin on my transmission. When I finally received my Bronco back from them not only did they leave @talonsgarage heavy duty skid plate system loose TWICE. Bolts missing, and hanging out(will find in the cloud and post later) half threaded with my skid plate slapping around. But my transmission was worse off than when I took it there! It’s the manual transmission and would stick it 3rd and 5th gear when attempting to down shift.

The second time when I went to have a new transmission installed, my 40ish pound engine skid was close to falling off. And every bolt on my skid plate system was loose. The damage it could’ve done, if it fell off, to my vehicle or the people I was driving around before noticing would’ve been catastrophic.

@ford Not sure if this is normal practices for as far as I can tell most of your “Five Star Service” places… Please consider some new training and quality control. It’s sad to feel more safe being in my vehicle after I’ve crawled around under it on my dirt barn floor working on it. Then when the certified service techs with ALL the tools and lifts do.

Lastly, Wayne over at @northbayford has always been awesome and every time I go somewhere else because they are busy I get disappointed. So Big Thank You to Wayne.

Sales rep and manager were easy, didn’t feel pressured at all. The buying process was relatively simple. However, they didn’t deliver the car promised and I had to point that out. By this point, we had already signed the paperwork and were on our way out. We were told it would be $4k more if they were to find us another car. Not wanting to deal with more time and extra money, we kept the car. Word to the wise, do not sign for any car until you have seen it with your own eyes.

The service team impressed on all levels. For the recent service on my truck they sent drivers to my work to pick it up in the morning and returned it to me by 5, with responsive communication throughout the day from their service dept. I’m guessing this type of customer care takes a well trained team to pull off so seamlessly. Highly recommend!

Looked at a few other dealers but really wanted to buy local. Contacted this dealer and got Tony in sales. Tony kept in touch and after a day of looking went to see him., Glad I did. The local price was $500 cheaper than others over the hill or in the valley... The process here was much easier especially with Tony and his manager. Here I was not a number but a person. My new Maverick was clean and full of fuel by the time I got out of finance. Super easy, super nice and a great place to buy a car. Should have just come here first instead of looking at others.
