Sheila has been great to work with. We try not to be "needy" tenants and upkeep the property ourselves. However, we had a few issues pop up around the same time and we contacted the maintenance team to get them fixed. We had a birthday party coming up and needed to make sure the plumbing was fixed prior. Sheila was very accommodating to our schedule and was great to work with. We are very happy with her customer service! We appreciate her quick responses and she gets the job done! She's definitely an asset to the team! Thank you Sheila 🙂

I just rented a unit from them. I received my keys close to the end of business that day & once I entered I found it was NOT move-in ready. I instantly called, got sent to vm, & then sent an email. Then I received an email that maintenance would call me the next morning. Karen was the one who called me. I am so grateful for her! She truly listened to my concerns, understood my frustration, & went above & beyond to make things right! Karen made sure to have everything completed by the end of business that day so it wouldn't affect my moving schedule for the next day. Dealing with Karen was so refreshing! She is just a delight. I hope TJ Guyer etc realizes what a jem they have!

Rented from them. Karen Ferguson was our onsite manager at the time. Best there ever was! She was moved to the main office later on, I missed her. She was always on top of everything!!! Super helpful and loving. Even when she moved to the main office she was helping us. Maintenance was amazing with her! If nothing was getting done, I could call her and it was done. Wish I was closer to Washington. Thank you for being there.

I don't often leave reviews these days because I don't believe that it is the best way for an employee to be assessed, but it is how things are done at this time so when good things happen, I want to acknowledge them.
I have lived at a TJ Guyer managed property for a little over five years now. There have been ups and downs with management and maintenence over the course of that five years, but recently things have gotten so much better. Though I don't know the internal workings or what has changed, it is a noticeable change.
Today, I was pleasantly surprised to have less than an hour turn around time from when I phoned in a maintenence request to the work being fully completed! Stunning!
I would like to specifically thank Karen from maintenance for making this happen, especially going into the weekend.
Something new and different is happening at TJ Guyer (now Northwest Property Managers) and it's positive!

Recently my stove stopped working and Karen was an awesome help! She worked hard to locate a working stove for me since ours is an awkward size and made sure I had a working stove as soon as possible. I was not looking forward to not having a stove for a week and she stepped up and made it happen!

Locked my apartment keys and car keys in my apartment and was told that maintenance cannot help me and I have to call a lock smith. Paid over $100 for a locksmith to unlock my door. How ridiculous, as someone who works for a property management company this is absolutely an issue that maintenance can resolve that won’t cost your tenants money. Please do better. On top of this, the elevator in my building has been turned off for months with no mention of it, and so far it seems there’s no intentions to fix it. I had no issues renting from this company previously, but this time around it seems that they don’t care about their tenants very much and I don’t know if I would continue renting once my lease expires.
