I first contacted Cala at Northwoods Realty over a year ago to discuss selling our lake house on Connors Lake in Winter, Wisconsin. We live in the Kansas City area and we had a long time horizon for selling because our family wanted to enjoy our lake place one last time in July, 2024. Even though the sale was to occur over a year after contacting Cala, she jumped right in as far as strategies for selling and providing comps to consider when the house would go on the market. Cala toured the house and made suggestions on improvements to enhance sale-ability. After a final meeting in May armed with updated comps, we set a listing price and put the house on the market just before Memorial Day. We had instant interest and and multiple offers to consider. We accepted an offer and recently closed. Working with Cala was a breeze. She’s professional, thorough and dependable. I highly recommend using Cala and Northwoods Realty!

Cala was amazing to work with. I had two properties to sell and she assisted me on both, but one year apart. Cala worked tirelessly, keeping me updated constantly. Cala is very knowledgeable and when we did encounter a problem she had the resources and resolved the issues promptly, calling it a learning experience for herself. Cala is extremely ethical and I trusted her completely in her representing me as the seller.

I was looking to sell my mothers house in the area starting in early fall. I called 2 other realtors in the area, 1 said it will sit through winter, the other said it will sit for a year. I called Hilgart and worked with Maria. She was honest and said they were busy, but the house could sit through winter. She posted it on all the media sites, and in 10 days I had an offer I accepted. The buyer wanted to close in 10 days, and Maria worked to get that done. I'm sure everyone at Hilgart has the same values and work ethics, so you will be in good hands.
