I have lived here for almost 3 years now service department has been amazing. The major issue I’m having with this particular area is that a lot of break-in are happening. My car has been broken into three times and there’s nothing that the management could do for you so if you wanna move here, just bear that in mind.

The building itself is fine and what you would expect from Equity Residential. It's good; clean enough and issues are managed as needed. The staff are really on point and that's key! As of my writing of this review the team in place there is great! From maintenance to cleaning to front of house, a great team. The trail systems in and around the building is great if you've got dogs that like those things.

Car prowler problem.

Edit 3(3/1/25):Since the last update there has been at least 5 more break ins posted about on the comunity hub with the most recent post being 1/31/25.

Edit 2(1/6/25): I came downstairs this morning to a homeless person sleeping in the parking spot next to ours. The supposed "increased security" was nowhere to be found and not reachable.

Edit: This response is the same half answer the office gave me. I've never, not even in this review requested 24/7 patrols. What I requested was a constantly onsite security presence to monitor the uncontrolled parkinglot / garage while it is dark. Given the multiple breakins and vehicle thefts from this lot in the time I've lived here that seems like a bare minium.

I've lived here 3+ years. The area, building, and community are awesome. I would even go as far to say the local building management and maintenance are all awesome. However, awesome people at the local lvl dosnt translate to Equity Apartments (Notch parent company) being awesome.

In fact how Equity has handled (or... not handled) a pattern of break-ins has led to a group of 5-6 people being bold enough to steal my car out of their covered parking garage in full view of the cameras.

This process took 45m and even set off the car alarm. In a well lit covered garage with supposed security patrols. The fact nothing was noticed in this time frame with this amount of people and noise is a huge huge miss and something needs to change.

I am told they've requested double security patrols now but 2x0 is still 0 and I am requesting, at minimum, a constant onstie presence during dark hours. In an ideal world this would be coupled with a bit more controlled access to the lot (some sort of gate with a scan in process) to make it less inviting for a car full of prowlers to cruise around and steal at their leasure.

The locks on the apartment doors seem nice so I'm not super scared for my apartment, but if you own a vehicle, or like to be out late and don't want to run into a gang of theives prowling the parking lot, maybe consider renting elsewhere.

Have lived here for almost 4 years. Apartment is great, was brand new when I moved in. Management has been attentive and helpful. One major thing why I wont rate it higher is the fire alarm issues. There has been false alarms probably a dozen times since I have moved in. First few times were whatever, these things happen... but at this point its gotten ridiculous. The alarm is VERY loud and stressful for both myself and my pets to wake up to. They really need to be stricter about the no smoking inside policy to get this to stop. But it keeps happening so clearly management doesnt care about it too much.
Also the downstairs lobby area is cool but the fire alarm board thing down there keeps malfunctioning and may or may not be related to the false alarms but they have never fixed it. It loudly beeps all the time and makes it hard to actually use the lobby down there

The best apartment!! They have the nicest and accommodating Management Staff, Lyndsey and Chris, and very responsive Maintenance personnel.
The apartment is really nice, large windows, good flow of air, clean and all equipment and fixtures are new. More so, I love their amenities such as the game area, roof deck for barbeque, bike storage, etc.
It so clean and organized even when throwing trash.
Indeed, it is an amazing place to live and call home!!!

I've been enjoying my 2-plus years at the Notch Apartments very much. It is a very well-run building (even with some management turnovers), and is located in a nice, quiet setting (right next to Cougar Mt Regional Wildland Park. It is kept pretty clean inside and out, despite the large number of tenants, who are largely very nice and friendly, as is the management team.

I have been living in the Notch Apartments for a few months now and have had an excellent experience. The staff is extremely friendly, prompt, and professional. Whenever I have a question or concern, they are quick to address it. Whenever I’ve had packages delivered, they have ensured it gets to the right location and communicate with me the entire time (ie letting me know when it is delivered and where they placed it - I was even able to have my couch delivered directly into my living room upon request!). The one time I had maintenance done, Russel made sure to contact me before entering my home to get my permission first. Things like that have made me feel secure, cared for, and that they put real effort into fostering good relationships with their residents. Additionally, it is a very clean and quiet community - which is very important to me! I would highly recommend this complex!

We have really enjoyed living at Notch so far. The inside of the apartment is really nice and the layout of our apartment (gallery kitchen) utilizes it’s small square footage well. The appliances are great. The maintenance guy, Russell, has been very responsive as well as personable so far; it can be hard to find good maintenance people so we really appreciate that. The rest of the staff are also nice and they have been supportive throughout COVID. They even started offering flex pay for rent so you can pay throughout the month. The biggest downside is that I and everyone I’ve had over do not get cell service in this building for some reason, no matter our carrier.
