Living out of state, retiring from the military, starting a new job, I needed to move very quickly. Also, I needed an agent who was going to be on top of things to help me find and get settled into a new home in less than 30 days in a very competitive VA buyer’s market. I was right!

I couldn't thank John enough during the entire process for all his hard work, responsiveness, and attention to detail along with helping me coordinate the logistics working with my listing agent to get my home sold in Illinois while working the builder sales rep to purchase my new home in VA making for a seamless process. Being new construction, he was there for the initial purchase and follow up walk-through. More importantly, he was there during the recommended home inspection and final walk-through when I couldn't be there. It was fun playing good cop bad cop with the builder working with him. He even got them to add more insulation in the ceiling along with leaving hoses and sprinklers in the yard when the site supervisor initially said no. Even the DR Horton sales rep was really impressed in how committed he was only having my best interest heart and enjoyed working with him as well. John also took the initiative to schedule appointments and shared required information with a couple of local fence contractors realizing how important it was for me to get that done asap. He even obtained HOA contact info to help get the approval process started. At every moment, with his help I knew exactly what was going on or what needed to be done. I wanted to share my experience working with John. It first started talking to John about moving on an off-road trip last year-Windrock, TN!…and the plan was hatched. I had learned so much in just one conversation! He walked in after I had done some work on the house many months later. He provided a list of yes-do and no-don’t do.
