My name is Joe Day. My wife Rici and I used Olympic Escrow for the sale of our country home and the purchase of our city home. I have sold several homes before this and bought a few but never at the same time. This was a very stressful time for us that made easier by using this company. Our out-of-state lender was not forthcoming about the payoff amount on our mortgages BUT, Lisa and her tireless, able crew managed to pull it off.
On the purchase of our new home, they worked with us and answered all our questions, sometimes after hours. Lisa and her staff were polite, informative and were always willing to explain the process.
Through the reams of papers, telephone calls, texts and in-person visits, Olympic Escrow was The Calm in the Storm. Highly recommended!

Our entire experience with Olympic Escrow has been a torturous nightmare. If it were possible to give a negative review, we would. There were continually delayed processes, and the ABSOLUTE lack of communication was baffling. Lisa looked us in the face and said, "everything on my end has gone perfectly," when her lack of updates to our agent or ourselves seemed almost *purposeful and adamant.* When they did bother to update our agent, it was incomplete or inaccurate information. Our agent is a saint, and super hero, so we didn't even have to deal with the brunt of this fiasco.

After all of the delay and run around, our money was not released in any form of timely manner. They received funding at 1:07 pm prior business day (it was a Friday), and for some reason (our funds were held, it seems, so they had the time to gain interest over the long weekend), we still have not gotten it. When I called to ask for an update, Lisa scoffed at us, and passed any responsibility to the banks.

NOT professional, NOT recommended. If you have to drive to another county, state, or country to do your escrow, do it. The inconvenience of traveling out of the area is well worth not having to deal with this office.
