I had a 12 month lease in 2024 for a studio at greenfield estates. Once the weather turned cold though I began to hear some scratching in the walls. I know it’s normal to have mice in winter so I wasn’t too concerned, but then two days later I saw three mice in my living room while I was sitting on the couch with my CAT. I called the maintenance line and they said they had known about the mice in the building for two weeks but didn’t ever give me a heads up or warning they were there. They said they would set traps and I asked them to look for mice holes too so we could seal the way they were getting in. I have a camera in my apartment and I could see that they came in, set two traps, peeked behind the oven, then left. After checking the traps for two days and finding two mice, they told me the issue was resolved, but I was still finding mouse droppings everywhere, including on my bed. Everything I read said that if you are seeing mice in the daytime while you’re in the room, especially if you have a cat, then clearly there is an infestation and it’s not just a few mice, but management refused to listen to me. I was no longer able to even live in my apartment because they were getting so bad but the management would do nothing to help and tried to discount my complaints. Eventually they just told me I could end my lease early at no charge (but only gave me two days to decide that). They never actually fixed the mouse problem and instead just set a few traps and called it good. They then continued to hold this information back from the rest of the tenants and many still don’t know there are mice in the building.

We have been charged for services that are not caused by us, and mistakes made by maintenance.

One day our apartment got a text saying there was a trail in the carpet leading to our apartment and we would be billed for the service. We talked with everyone in our apartment and there was nothing brought in that would cause the marks, they have cameras in the hall, so we told them to check it. To which they responded they couldn't tell who caused it. Then billed us anyways.

On another occasion we contacted management that our toilet was running constantly. They came in, looked at a different issue, then said it was good and left. We got a call from the utility company about a week later saying we have used a lot more water than we normally have by this time of the month. Guess who got stuck with the extra-large bill. Us, with 0 accountability being taken by the management company.

I loved living at Oakbridge! Management was always friendly and the maintenance staff were friendly as well and were quick to address any problem. They were absolutely wonderful and did not give me a hard time about my ESA dog with proper documentation provided. At the time they did not allow pets and I was worried they would try and deny me my ESA but they were great to work with! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in the Baraboo area.

I knew from previous experience that I should document everything wrong with an apartment. Moving in was okay. I had a 2 bedroom corner unit. I had signed a year lease. She hooked up our electric and water.. I didn't like that. I am an adult I can do it myself. Anyways, our neighbors were noisy but they left and then had a neighbor who smoked-- out of Pac Managements control which is okay. The problem lies when I moved out and purchased a home in 2016. I brought it up to their attention in plenty of time in regards to sub-lease the Apartment which states on the website and spoken in person that it would be 350$. BUT WHEN TIME CAME all of a sudden we couldn't do that. I was only moving out a month early so I said that I will not be paying rent and you can keep the security deposit. All of a sudden she changed her mind and she just said that was the end of the lease which then I stated I wanted my deposit back. She had stated if the unit was cleaned, including carpet cleaning, and all utilities were paid then I would get my full deposit back. I made sure I took care of all the utilities or SHE would take them out of your deposit! Also she said that carpet cleaning would come out of the deposit as well... I know that if you live in a place for under a year they legally can not however I couldn't find any information on over a year. I just paid a different company to come clean the carpets. I kept asking for a walk through and she never had time, that was the excuse I kept getting. She was so sketchy at the end. I ended up getting MOST of my deposit back, I cleaned so much for 3 days, but of course she still had to take some for "Cleaning"-- washer and dryer cleaning -_-. I took pictures when I left because I was afraid of a slumlord. I will never recommend this apartment complex to anyone and I do not want to be contacted in regards to this review. They are made cheaply and you pay a lot.

Also last thing, there's mold that grows in the windows from moisture and nothing was done about it. I cleaned it about once a week or it would grow up the window.

I like living at Oakbridge. The property managers seem nice, the apartments themselves are very quiet. My only complaint is that they don't have garbage disposals in their sinks.

Great place to live and nice people living in that complex. I’d stayed had I not needed more space. Heated floors included as well as a private garage.
