Your first mistake was considering living in one of these apartments. Firstly, the buildings will be maintained to a standard not seen since pre Soviet russia, mold in the walls ceiling. When you move out, they will blame the mold on you and hit you with a multi thousand dollar bill. Further, sketchy people who say they know someone who used to live there will show up in vans, peaking behind you when you open the door to see if thereโ€™s anything worth stealing. The landlords are unprofessional, and nothing will ever be replaced or fixed the entire duration you live there. Even the ashlanders are better. even living in a Honda might be better, and cheaper. You should consider it. If you move into the Sherwood village a betting man would give you 3:1 odds you donโ€™t survive.

A collection of dilapidated, dangerous properties, with a litany of illegal code violations. Regular roof leaks, power outages, furnishings falling apart, literally no insulation in the walls, cracks
In the floor, among others, and a refusal to fix any of the issues. They get away with it because theyโ€™re a monopoly in rural America. Nobody to enforce the law, nobody to compete.

Now that I'm moving out I wanted to share my move in story and it's wild so hang in there. Trigger warning: deceased bodies (for real)
We rented a space in a trailer park managed by pacific. When we looked at the space 2 weeks before move in we noticed a rotten dead animal smell and assumed there was roadkill somewhere, rented the space anyways. Upon move in day the smell was so overwhelming and there were flies EVERYWHERE. To make a long story short my partner went exploring and found that the woman in the trailer next to us was deceased, and based upon the eviction notice, level of decomp, and talking to the womans friend she had been rotting in that trailer in the September heat for at least a month. The body was removed but the trailer had so much decomp material in the carpets that the smell and flies remained. We called pacific, they said the deceased woman's trailer would be cleaned up by the end of the week. They failed to clean up the decomp trailer for 3 weeks afterwards, meaning the smell and flies remained. We found our trailer to be uninhabitable due to the fact that we were getting bit by flies that had been snacking on human remains, so we called pacific and asked if we could be refunded our first months rent. They passed the message to the owner of the trailer park, who said that it wasn't his fault the woman passed away so no, he couldn't refund us. Although it was a very unfortunate event that was nobodies fault, pacific did charge us for a residence that was objectively uninhabitable and we were forced to pay rent at 2 locations due to their lack of regard for sanitation.

rude rude rude! they have no answers and don't know what they're doing. They demand paperwork when they want it (and will call multiple times in a hour while you're working) but as soon as you want information they "don't know." they will be rude, laugh when you ask questions, and somehow don't know what they're talking about. They failed to mention a bunch of things until after I paid the background check. They will treat you like a walking wallet. Please, if you can go to a different company in the valley. They will treat you better. They deserve your money more than the people at pacific rental properties.

Our home was bought by pacific in the middle of an asbestos rehab from absolute. The property was sold before our home was even livable as we had no working bathroom or kitchen. We paid full rent for 6 month. Zero asbestos tests have been done in the other 4 homes in the property and zero have been done on the homes pacific recently bought. Absolute fled the area to avoid being held accountable posts with evidence backing claims can be found in my social monkie Sage and the local ashland housing groups

Poor customer service. Poorly managed and extremely rude. They want to raise your rent 10% every year so be prepared. They will bend and break your lease to their will. And they will put very minimal effort into repairs. We have the same broken dryer from the 90s they keep putting a bandaid on despite getting almost 5k a month on this property. They are cheap and unprofessional. If you have a choice do not do buiness with them. I unfortunately had our property sold to them. They are too small to deal with the amount of property they took over. It's a nightmare to deal with.

The worst of the worst, would never have openly rented from this company my building was sold and taken over by this company. They have increased my rent over 150.00 every 9 month with no upgrades or repairs done to justify. I am a single mom on one income and could barely afford the 1,350. I pay currently but now how and I to afford 1,500. On a single income it's not like my pay increased nor can I get a roommate given I only have 2 bedroom and 2 kids.

They are terrible. The unit we rented was not worth what they were asking for rent. The complex itself is an eye sore, in desperate need of paint. The windows were old, and if it rains hard they will leak ect. Yet the rent gets raised considerably each year, without any compensation. They do it simply because they can. Greed has no morals.
