Was very disappointed when my husband brought home Thanksgiving dinner we ordered at Palmers.
Was so glad to not have to cook , as we are taking care of my mom who is in hospice.
I paid $177 for this.
I threw away the stuffing. It was just dried bread. It also came with a pumpkin pie, which I didn’t want, but I had no other choice, but a pecan pie, which no one would have eaten

I have shopped here a few times & have been craving for their desserts. For the 1st time, I tried their cake slices but not the fresh ones that were just made. I bought 2 kinds, 1 Angel food cake and 1 flour less chocolate cake. I ate the former right away while kept the flourless to give to my kids/husband to share at home. I found the whipped cream on the Angel cake a bit bland but the cake itself was good. I was dismayed when I opened the flourless as soon as I arrived home, I saw all the raspberries have molds & the bottom that touched the cake also had some! The expiration date is still 2 days on the date I bought it. I know that flourless cake can last long even for 4-5 days but putting fresh fruits on it is not a good idea cuz it would only shorten it's shelf life. It could have been a good idea if the fruits are dipped in syrup to prevent it from molds; otherwise, any pastries/cake with fresh fruit can only last for 1 day. I know they would replaced it without question but to go all the way back for just a slice of cake isn't really worth the customer's time & effort! What if I decided to eat that without realizing that it was full of molds, instead of the Angel food cake? Or served that to my family without realizing it was full of molds? Then, we would definitely get sick 🤢 Don't they have manager's that do quality control?

We are so thrilled that we found Palmer’s Bakery in Darien to make our wedding cake. They were outstanding to work with from the beginning of the process all the way to the end. They were prepared for us when we went in for our tasting and had ideas to share with us. We landed on a Funfetti cake that truly captured the fun we wanted our guests to have at our reception. Their final cake exceeded our expectations, and our guests still talk about it. They not only loved how it looked, but they also LOVED how it tasted. I highly recommend Melissa and Palmer’s. They are awesome!

Palmers Gourmet-to-go never disappoints.
Items are so beautifully put together, you just plop them down and watch the crowd enjoy. Delicious and plentiful. Crostini platter pictured

The Palmers deli saved me in an absolute pinch! I had a last minute event and needed 50 sandwiches on a Sunday!! Carlos, Ricardo, and Blanca took incredible care of my group. They provided us with so many delicious sandwiches and accommodated all the dietary restrictions of my group even considering the time crunch. I’m so impressed with the service and I cannot thank them enough!

The customer service is a joke. They over charged me over $30 on a bakery item. When I called they refused to help me over the phone and said that I had to come into the store to fix the issue that they caused. The employee working was rude and when I insisted on speaking with someone she hung up on me.
