Have been renting for approx 7 years. Manager is awesome. Communicates well through website portal. Has any repairs done quickly and I mean quickly, one or two days. Has auto pay for rent. In all the years I've rented I've never had any negative issues. Extremely friendly, best rental company ever delt with. I have rented through other companies and without naming names I have to say there is no doubt Paradise Property is far above any of the Huge Corporate companies.

They lie to you to get you to sign the lease. I worked with Stephanie and her dad.

I was told the utilities would be around $150/mo, my fish tank was ok, and there wasn't much noise from the elementary school. I moved in and found out the utilities were over $700/mo, I was forced to sell my fish tank, and the alarm and screaming kids from the school woke me up at 7:30am and go all day.

I spent weeks fixing up the rental house when I moved in it was in such bad shape. When I moved in there was garbage everywhere on the property they didn't clean up. Additionally, I got a substantial rent increase after one year, and they kept $700 of the security deposit, even though I left the property spotless.

Terrible experience, would not recommend.

Just an FYI, if your budgeting for a property to rent, Their AppFolio portal to setup auto pay, will charge you 2.99% of your total rent +$3.50 for a service fee if you'd like use a credit card to pay your rent.

If your using Debit to pay your rent, it is a flat rate a month of $9.99 on top of your rent.

Lastly, there is no charge if you setup auto pay from a Bank Account.

I have had some contact issues when trying to move back to Ventura from out of the county. When I finally spoke with the Paradise Property Management Owner Stephanie, She stated Her father, who is also listed on their site was very sick and not doing well; and that she was the only one running the business at the moment. She stated the last Office employee just didn't work out.

We lived in one of their properties while we lived in California for years. Whenever we needed something she would send someone over right away. Our cleaning and pet deposits were very fair. We cleaned our apartment so well and we ended up getting all of it back when we moved out. We have the best memories in our little California house!
