Adi the manager at Mission Hills apartment was amazing guiding us every step of the way making sure every step of our application process was done efficiently. Thankful for her time and patience. Also, like to thank Tasha for all her patience and help who got us started in our journey to getting our new home at Passage Buena Vista.

After living at Passage at Buena Vista for a year and a half, I can confidently say I would not recommend this complex to anyone. The management here has been consistently unresponsive and unprofessional. Emails and phone calls are often ignored. It's frustrating to deal with a complete lack of communication and follow-up. When our two management contacts Tammy and Lisa actually get back to you, they always say they are doing something to help but, you never hear from them after they tell you this lie. Also nobody from management is onsite so you can’t go to the office to talk to them, you just have to wait and hope they eventually return your calls.

The amenities, which were a key factor in my decision to move here, have also been a disappointment. The golf simulator, a major selling point when I first toured the complex, has been broken for over six months. Despite multiple inquiries, there has been no attempt to repair or replace it, rendering it completely unusable for residents.

To top it all off, the rent is already on the higher end for the area, with current rates over $2600 per month for a 1bed/1bath. I am sincerely warning people, look anywhere else.

Despite the ongoing issues, they’ve continued to increase rent during my time here. It feels as though the high rental costs are not being reinvested into improving the property or the living experience, and tenants are left paying more for the same poor service and deteriorating conditions.

The administration is really bad. We just moved out and cleaned the apartment completely. They still charged us $250 without giving an explanation and knowing the apartment was completely clean. It’s a scam…
We also had mold issues in the apartment and lost some of our belongings because of that. The complex didn’t reimburse anything and blamed us for the issue.
Also, there’s a very bad vibe in the complex. People are not friendly and there’s dog poops everywhere!
I know this place looks newer than others but I promise you that it’s not worth it!!

We moved from the Inland Empire to Passage at the end of September. To be honest, I was really nervous because the reviews are mixed, and we were brand new to the area. We've had some issues here and there with noise but overall we've had a great expeirence with the staff. Luis is a phenomenal maintenance man, and Lisa in the office is AMAZING. She has been so helpful and understanding with anything we need or our questions. I was nervous about the idea of no one really being onsite, but I have had excellent communication with the staff via phone, email, and text. No apartment is perfect, but their staff really try to accommodate you and work with you to make your living experience good here. Plus the units are stunning so that's always a plus 🙂

Adi was amazing, she answer all our questions. She made sure we were all set. Definitely made us feel like we were making a great decision. 100% recommended working with her.

DON’T RENT HERE !!!! The towing company, tows cars whenever they want even if you have a sticker, just to make a buck cost $440. How convenient the towing happened on News Year’s day. Apartments are way over priced for the location, homeless outside, fire station all times of the night. Homeless sleep towards the front of the complex, and the doors are always broken. The amenities, are either broken or unusable, dog park is filthy, dog “washing station” is always inoperable, rent increases are not worth the property, staff is never available and not onsite, stairways are dirty all the time, they charge you an insurance fee even though it’s on you to get insurance. They also charge you for additional parking for the privilege of being towed whenever the towing company wants to make money. Guest parking sucks, the poolside furniture is filthy, the pool is filthy.
Only amenity that’s decent is the gym.
Year over year 8% rent increases, which do not match the area nor quality of the apts.

There's is a beautiful trail below the complex, but the complex's water sprinklers are so often broken and flooding, that the trail is getting washed out. I've called the maintenance team, the front office and even the Sales Department too for something to be done, and still nothing (it's been 6 months). Tonight one is broken and geysering 14ft into the air. Really disappointing that they don't care about destroying public resources or listen to complaints levied.

2024 REVIEW
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My family & I were super excited to move in here as soon as we arrived on our “move in day” the apartment was given to us with out being cleaned from previous renter. It was filthy I spent over $300 on cleaning supplies and my robot roomba stopped working due to DOG HAIR stuck on it , we have no dogs so of course it was from the previous people living there. We were told they would wave our cleaning fees ($250) whenever we decided to move, we accepted as we had no other choice .
Here comes the worst part;
The apartment was INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES. We were told we didn’t have an option to be given another apartment due to the cockroaches. We lived there from August 13 to August 31 2024. We did not unpack NONE of our stuff and we threw out ALL THE FOOD we had brought. That was the worst most stressing time of my life. We were able to get pests control done 1 time and was told it would be a process . Let me tell you save your money and your time. Cockroaches were crawling from every corner of the ENTIRE apartment . I’m disgusted. We were able to find a new home and get out of there. Now I’m being charged about $1300 . All of their office numbers and emails are ignoring us. Our information was given to “Past Resident Team” who won’t even answer our calls all we are receiving from them is emails about our payment being due and threatening to send to collection when all we need to do is be explained why we are being charged half a month of rent when we were out by the 1st and cleaning fees were suppose to be waved.
It’s ridiculous, SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY over $3000 of rent with an INFESTED APARTMENT IS NOT WORTH IT !
We didn’t move out because we didn’t like it we in-fact loved the layout of it. We moved out because we have two daughters a toddler and a baby. They were freaked out there was not one minute with out a crawling animal moving rite past us. PASSAGE DUE BETTER YOUR OWN MAINTENANCE TEAM CONFIRMED ITS AN ONGOING PROBLEM AND YOU GUYS ARNT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

There so much more to add like dogs peeing rite under my daughters room window , people smoking weed who live above and the entire apartment smelling because the smell goes threw the vent or the homeless with their pants down who like to hangout by the entrance , but I’ll leave it at that because the list can go on.

Reply @Tammy
Yes , there is something you can actually do and that’s have yourself or your team actually answer or calls and emails .
