We’ve worked with PCS Home Group (specifically Kelly) for about three years now. Kelly has been great - she keeps us informed and is responsive when we reach out. We’ve moved a few times and Kelly does a wonderful job relaying information to us even though we’re stationed on the opposite of the country now. When we first rented our house out, we had an unexpected remodel delay (outside contractor) and we were really impressed with Kelly’s ability to not only reassure us, but was also a great go-between with the tenants to keep them informed each step of the way. I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company and our representative Kelly. During our time with them, the upkeep and maintenance of our property were below average and excessively expensive. Despite paying a premium for their services, we were never provided with itemized receipts for the work performed by their handyman even after our request. This is not the only issue we had however it is a very important one to keep in mind.

When we informed them that we would not be renewing our contract. Suddenly, their entire demeanor shifted. What was once a polite attitude soon became dismissive and unprofessional.

It felt like they no longer cared about our concerns as homeowners or for the renters. Instead of addressing our issues, they brushed us off, making it clear they had no interest in providing quality service.

I do not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and transparent property management. Their refusal to be accountable for their costs and their abrupt change in tone when we decided to leave speaks volumes about their true priorities. I would suggest finding a company that values its clients and is willing to be upfront about its practices.

UPDATE: We wanted to take a moment to provide an update. Since posting our review, Kelly reached out to us personally to apologize for the disappointing experience we had. It means a lot to us that she took such a personal approach to address our concerns and disappointment. In light of this, we would like to amend our approval rating. We would absolutely consider working with her again in the future.

Initial Review:
We were very disappointed with our interactions with PCS Home Group, especially with the agent (Kelly) we tried to work with to secure a rental. The name “PCS Home Group” suggests they would have the knowledge and experience necessary to assist military families relocating to the area, but our experience was far from satisfactory. They lacked the expertise and understanding we expected, making the process too frustrating and inefficient to continue working with them.

Phone calls were not returned, and the only method of communication we had was via texting. Relocating and renting a home is far too important and involved to communicate just through texting. Our requests for a video chat or phone call were ignored, and the agent never followed up in the end. With time being a critical factor, we had to move on.

We learned from another military family moving to the area that their experience was the same as ours, which validated that the problem wasn’t on our part. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend The PCS Group.
