For the past 3 years, my wife and I were tenants of a property managed by Peerless. Our experience was positive from the beginning with Sherry showing us the property and doing the lease signing. I'd like to think we are pretty low maintenance tenants but any time we had any issues, which were few and far between and minor, Jim was responsive and had a service company and/or handyman out to rectify the situation ASAP. When it came to getting my security deposit back, they were very fair and reasonable with the portion that was returned. Monies withheld were warranted for minor damage that we were knowingly responsible for so I have no problem with that whatsoever.

Peerless provided expedient service when we needed them and they do expect the same in return. You pay your rent on time, no problems. You take care of the place, no problems. You keep them in the loop with any issues, no problems. You move out of the property and leave it in a similar condition to when you moved in, no problems. If you want to work with a good property management company, you should be a good tenant. It's a two way street.

We have been tenants of Peerless Management, Inc., for a little over one year, and based upon many varying communications and interactions with Jim, I have found him to be reliable, consistently available, professional, and otherwise a joy to work with.

We have had numerous issues, but nothing really preventable, or things I would fault anyone for. When we have an issue, we get into contact with Jim and our problems are resolved.

Additionally, I would say Jim has been exceedingly patient, never dismissive of our concerns, and works very hard on our behalf. We don't expect perfection, but we do expect folks to work hard and provide good service--Jim and his team have done this many times over.

I've been using Peeless with Jim and Sherry since 2013.My condo has been rented the entire time, with exceptions when tenant move on due to new job or able to buy a home.
Jim and John are prompt responding to text and e-mails. We are very please.

They advertised a rental home without listing there is NO AC or centralized cooling system. We had to spend over $2,000 for a centralized AC unit in a home in San Diego that we are renting for a mere 6 months. Their response: "The listing doesn't say it has AC." Be professional and upfront about big ticket items like this, as to not surprise your tenants!

I have lived in this place for 2 years and it has been horrible. They don't fix anything tries to tell me that I do think have an AC in the unit but it worked for a year and a half. Garbage disposal broke and they didn't want to fix it told me they would just take it out. They use 2 different company names this one and peerless properties. Jim is the worst. Don't rent from this place or you will be sorry. I'm moving this month and I'll post if I have any problems with my deposit.

Just left this office while a listened to a tenant call in saying that he paid with a check, then was told that he needs to bring in a money order and they would distroy his check for almost 600. Well they cashed it, and he just paid rent again. They refused to return the money. Instructed the front desk poison to give him the run around. Smfh

I was told yesterday that I was being evicted because they must took over the property and they like to start new with their own clients. Always paid my rent on time, for almost 2 years to the owner. This is a ruthless practice!! I would never rent from this company!
