Joe and his team at Peninsular Property go above and beyond the requirements. The team at this small organisation keep abreast of market information and changes in property law. They are aware of how current and future changes will affect their clients. They are proactive and on the ball with all they do. Not only that, they go the extra mile by keeping the customers well informed about the progress of the job at hand at each and every step. Moreover, they do it with a very pleasant and happy attitude. You can always hear the smile in the call and it is always very pleasant to speak to someone from Peninsular. The only reason I have given them a 5 star review is because there is nothing higher.

Peninsular Property were recommended to me via a professional body.Initially it was to manage the property involved to take away the day to day responsibility of a rented investment.
Joe dealt with every problem with professionalism and discretion, for which I am truly grateful.
He was given instruction to find a buyer, and proceeded to do so.I had a few questions on the way,to put it mildly, and each one was dealt with patiently.
Communication between myself and Joe was frequent on the whole, but at no time did I feel like it was a problem.
Fortunately, the sale is now complete and I can’t thank Joe and his colleagues enough.
I would highly recommend Peninsular Property as a Management Company and /or Estate Agent.

Joe is great! He goes above and beyond, even picked my tenants up from the airport. He responds to emails really quickly and is very efficient and pleasant to work with. He's got an excellent work ethic and reliably oversees everything that goes on within Peninsular property. Always avails himself to questions or queries.

We have found Peninsular Properties and in particular, Joe Bindley absolutely outstanding in every way over the past few weeks.
Our Son moved to the UK and we came across Peninsular Properties while looking for accommodation for him.
We had the pleasure of dealing with Joe from that office who took care of everything from then on.
He is highly professional, knew the areas really well and was very thorough in making sure every viewing met all our needs, from type of accommodation, neighbourhood, local transport and shopping.
He was so friendly and accommodating even out of hours and taking our son to viewings.
I highly recommend Peninsular Properties and will certainly be using their services again in the future.
Thankyou Joe!

I was asked by someone from Peninsular Property for more information than just a star rating, so here goes:

I was a tenant of a flat managed by Peninsular Property from May 2018 until March 2020, and often had difficulty getting in touch with them or getting a straight answer on anything, and got messed around repeatedly by them and their contractors when work needed to be done.

I was left without hot water for a week when the boiler broke, and was forced to chase up every time an appointment was missed. Another time I had a hole in my kitchen ceiling, plaster everywhere, and no electricity in several rooms due to a water leak which tripped a breaker. It took hours for Peninsular's handyman to show up - when he did, he ripped out the light fitting, left water and broken plaster all over the kitchen, no working lights, and promised to be back first thing the next morning. In fact, he wasn't back for several days because he said Peninsular had sent him to do other jobs.

I took time off work and rearranged shifts at short notice to let in Peninsular's workmen multiple times (at their request) for them not to show up. I have no idea why someone from Peninsular couldn't be there to let in the workmen themselves.

Anytime anything went wrong, they never took responsibility and always put the blame onto the landlord or their own contractors, despite the fact they were ultimately responsible as letting agents and property managers.

Soon after the water leak/electrics which took several weeks to fix, the landlord took over the management of the flats himself and I never had a problem that wasn't fixed quickly, and I found the landlord to be very open and honest with me.

I heard later that Peninsular Property told the landlord that many of the problems I kept chasing them about such as damp, leaks, and falling plaster had been fixed, when they had in fact either been half-arsed or not touched at all.

I didn't leave a review at the time, but I was reminded to leave one by their recent appearance in the local paper about one of the owners Joe Martin-Bindley being charged with fraud, among other offences, which will see him face a prison sentence. I thought they were just disorganised and incompetent because they seemed pleasant enough in person, but in fact members of the company were conning people the whole time.

Honestly, I'm amazed that anyone from Peninsular bothered to respond to my one star review considering it's currently in liquidation according to the local press and companies house. Although there's a new company set up under Claire Martin-Bindley's name which shares a home and office address, which seems strange.

Go up
