Stopped here on our way from Canada to Burlington vt. I normally don’t like mayo based sauces in my lobster rolls (I’m a butter person) but this one with the sundried tomato aioli was AMAZING. The vibes are also really cool since you’re right on the water.
Parking is a pain because you have to park on the street in the bike lane but totally worth stopping in if you’re in the area!

We had guests from Texas and we wanted a beautiful place to impress them,we chose to do that here. The food was delicious we (all 4 of us) ordered the exact same thing. We didn't realize that we were( the battered fish with coleslaw and fries ) I found that there was a lot of batter on the fish so I was just eating the fish which was so moist and flaky (so tasty) they need to change the menu to include a meal of broiled fish,no batter( Hint, hint ) One of our guests never had a maple creamy so she ordered a small one, after one bite she wished she ordered a large one .The atmosphere was beautiful, and the waiter I cannot express how delightful he was, he brought a smile to all of us. Almost like he sat the tone for the evening, very happy and funny. Well done!! We found that all the staff was very nice .and all had smiles 😊 Definitely will be back.

My boyfriend was super excited to take me here for my first time. Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience. We were sat right away and at a table with a great view at the Pier Bar. Our young waitress took our drinks and food order all at the same time which we wanted. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive and then we didn't get our food for over an hour. The two families that were seated on either side of us placed their order about 10 minutes after we did and got their food, dessert, and were gone before we even got our food. I had to ask the chef who was making rounds where our order was. The waitress didn't put our food order in for 30 minutes after we got our drinks. Not sure why. Asked us if we wanted a complimentary dessert, we didn't want dessert. So we didn't accept it. When we got the bill, they didn't comp anything at all for our troubles of waiting. I wish the food would have made up for the lack of service but unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the super small veggie burrito bowl I got considering I was super hungry. It's unfortunate nobody tried to make it right. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews. 😩

A fine spot on the water in North Hero. First time diner at this gem. I had the Honduran pulled pork sandwich with Mac & cheese french frys and a pickle with a rum and diet cola. Louise our waitress was terrific. It was a little chilly, but we are Northeners so we enjoyed the experience.

Should expand drink menu, many beers are only breweries (Allagash, Citizen Cider) and waiter doesn't know the actual selection offered.
Fries were very good, location perfect!

The Pier Bar is not easy to find. The sign and open flag are a house, but once approaching house you can tell it is not a restaurant. The Pier Bar is actually located at the House labeled North Hero House. Once we realized we’re to go it was easy to find hostess. We were seated quickly. Server came over and took drink order. Apologized she was busy. Brought drinks and took food order. All the food came out at once by a food runner. We never received our Mac N Cheese which was “soup special” and a starter. They forgot the cheese on our burger. Took back slapped some cold cheese on it and sent it back out. The kids cheese quesadilla was literally sliced American cheese and probably one slice on it. It was overcooked, kids wouldn’t eat. Also came with house chips and not tortilla corn chips. Not worth $12. The fish tacos were over seasoned and couldn’t be eaten. This came with tortilla chips. I think they mixed up which chips with which food order. Server was too busy to notice we barely ate anything and didn’t compensate. She did remove Mac n cheese since we never got it. Over all not worth $90. I think this place is visited for its outdoor seating on the lake and not its food.

First time there a few weeks ago. A great place to eat with live music to boot. Gorgeous views and slips to tie up you boat while eating. Highly recommend.
