Pinnacle Properties made what seemed like a daunting project simple, worry-free and affordable. Everyone was professional and incredibly helpful with the multitude of questions I had. They completed the project in record time, while doing a thorough job, and keeping the entire thing within budget. Will most definitely be recommending to anyone who is looking for a landscaping team, and returning to them myself for future services as needed!

This review is for Pinnacle's residential landscape design and installation services. They renovated our backyard by installing an irregular bluestone patio, boulder wall, various plantings, and construction of a pergola and modification of our deck.

I decided to write a long review because I noticed many of the other reviews are very short, which isn't incredibly useful for knowing how the process actually works with Pinnacle.

My rating is based on the following categories: Quality of work, customer service, cost, and schedule.

Since this is a long term installation, quality of work is the most important factor, and Pinnacle did a fantastic job. The design and resulting landscape look gorgeous and were done in way built to last. It's super super nice, so if you only care about the finished project just stop here and hire Pinnacle. The team took the time to pick out materials that would look good in the space, and made sure to check in with us about the details that make it look great. We are really impressed with how it looks and are excited to use the space for years to come.

Customer service was also perfect. The entire team was very considerate, responsive, and kept us up to date throughout. They were very respectful of us and our neighbors. They also worked with us through numerous issues and were always extremely reasonable and kind.

Cost was a bit of a challenge, though I think their rates are reasonable for the work done. The design is produced as a single number, without a breakdown for labor/materials of various parts. The design proposed was also 20% more than requested, so the lack of itemization made making changes challenging and we ended up spending more. There was also a case where square footage was being over-estimated, which nearly cost us a couple thousand dollars if we had not done some trigonometry in the yard. We also ended up needing to spend more than anticipated to resolve a drainage issue, which may have been foreseen if Pinnacle had researched the type of soil in our neighborhood beforehand. This also led to one of the many reasons for a schedule slippage, since clay is hard to work with.

Here are the schedule details:
We originally emailed Pinnacle in 01/2023. The estimate at this time was the project would begin and end in 06/2023. We received our first design in 04/2023, which was deemed unacceptable by Pinnacle (again, they do really quality work) and they made us a 2nd design, which wasn't completed until 06/2023, however they did it for free which was super nice of course! Work did not start until 08/02/2023 and was completed on 09/26/2023. The original estimate to complete the work was 7-10 days. Even in early August the estimate given was ~2.5 weeks. There were multiple unlucky things like machines breaking, but also foreseeable issues like the clay. The bad rain delayed the start of the project, but really the weather was nice in August/September, so I am not entirely sure why their estimate was off by ~6 weeks. This was disappointing because we discussed having the project done for this summer, but it wasn't entirely ready to use until nearly October.

Again, the Pinnacle team are all fantastic people committed to doing a good job, and they did deliver. The only reason I am docking a star is because they could improve their planning and precision of cost and schedule estimates rather considerably.

Overall I would recommend Pinnacle Landscaping.

We had three bathrooms remodeled during a four week project that was just completed in early May 2022. In one bathroom we had a small shower removed and installed an ADA shower with bench, hand held and overhead shower, beautiful tile walls and glass doors. It looks like a spa! Completely did the second upstairs bath with beautiful tile, tub and glass doors, also. The powder room downstairs included wallpaper and decorative mirror. Words do not do justice to the craftsmanship. The design done by Luke was professional and stunning. The whole crew that were present were not only professional trades people, but genuinely nice and respectful of us and our home. I highly recommended Pinnacle Properties for their on site work as well as the help from their office manager, Krista. We will definitely be using them, again for future projects!

They maintain lawns, snow removal , installed a community garden and designed our landscape .

Pinnacle Properties was highly recommended on VT Craigslist inquiry and I can only echo the great reviews. The Pinnacle team was super responsive from the beginning with scheduling through the end of the project. Our project involved repairing ceiling cracks and painting ceilings in our home. The end result looks fantastic!
