I moved back to monroe Wi to help my mother who needs incare help because of her hips and back. I left north carolina to help her FYI. Pioneer made it sound like it would be just fine because it was in home care. My mother and I went through all their hoops to make sure everything was done correctly. Well my mother got a email about an hr ago saying it's not possible because of a incident 15 years ago. In this email they qoute that incident but pretty much highlight that they would lose money over looking out for their residents. With all that there are a group of about 5 women who sit around talking about everyone and being in everyone's business and then complain when something they don't like happens. They go straight to pioneer themselves instead of doing anything correctly and pioneer caters to these woman for some reason. Now keep in mind these women have been reprimanded for doing this multiple times but keep doing it because they think they rule the building.
With all this being said the building is 3 years old and you can see cracks in the ceilings and at joint locations in the buildings main areas. This shouldn't be happening in a very newish property but pioneer was so hell bent on building this place they cut corners to get it up. Not only that people have mentioned that they have found mice in their apartments not only on the first floor but the 2nd and third floor also. Pioneer is a joke and is in it for the money they truly don't care about the elderly they just care about the money. Since my mother has been here and she is on social security rent has gone up multiple times. This place is taking over a third of her ssi.
This is pathetic and unethical. I can honestly say if my mother has a medical incident they could have been prevented by me being in home with her I will be pressing legal action because Pioneer has said money is more important then the needs of their tenants.

The worse management property I ever dealt with. Moved into a senior building in Bloomington, Illinois. Signed lease on December 23rd. At the signing of the lease. I noticed they had the lease dated for 10-1, however, the building was not ready for I can proceed until December since it was December. When I was signing the lease I asked about the October date on application. They assured me it was fine that they had to do it that way for HUD purposes. The first two years they went up on my rent in 10 months. The third year I question it and they fixed it and didn't go up till December. Now this year I'm dealing with the same thing. I am so frustrated nobody gets back with you on site. Property Management is never here. I have major health problems with heart failure. The elevator on my end of the building has been out for 10 months which makes it hard for me to get in and out of the building. Don't rent from them

My application for a “affordable housing project” unit in Davenport was denied for an eviction but my white coworker was just approved. The only reason I applied was because she recommended me there & we pretty much have the same income. So why was she approved & I was not? I think companies should check these property managers out more. I feel treated very unfairly in this situation.

This has got to be the worse company I have ever had to deal with. They are unethical and dishonest. They lie and rip people off with ease. I do not recommend that anyone rents from them. I stayed at one of their properties for less than a week, and had to move out because of the condition of the place. They did not fix the issues and proceeded to charge me almost $4000 when I chose not to stay there any longer. Then, when they owed me money, they said they were going to send me a check in 2 weeks, and they still haven't sent it. It's been two weeks. I called the apartment complex to ask about my money, and the employee went off on me and hung up on me. Just like that. I don't know when or if I'm ever going to get my money back.

They are the worst, most disorganized and oblivious property management company I have ever dealt with. In addition to their ineptitude, they recently sent out a letter to their tenants stating that “rental forgiveness” is not something that they will allow, based on “daily communication from our president and government officials regarding support being passed down to the American people”. I’m not quite sure what they’re talking about, but neither are they. I’m glad I no longer have to deal with them in my life.
