SCAM ALERT! HIDDEN FEES! BEWARE!
These apartment complexes are managed by a greedy corporation (UDR) and they raise your rent at every step of the application. The website, the application, the contract, and some checklist they give you at the end ALL HAVE DIFFERENT PRICES. Their response? Well, it's corporate and they determine the prices which change DAILY! There are parking issues (good luck if you have two cars), the gym is closed and the pool is only for show. They don't work. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience. I canceled my application and requested a refund. Let's see if they give us our money back (in 3 weeks).

Regret moving in here overly packed no parking so you can never have a visitor there’s not even parking outside of the gate. There’s like 10 people living in an apartment. They charge additional fees and won’t take them off and make you jump through Hoops. You’ll never be able to talk to someone on the phone EVER after they take your money. Don’t move here. Management is incompetent and Useless Not solution oriented push you to the back oriented and via text!

I had a an awful experience with The Pointe at Northridge. First of all covid scare has been over for at Least a couple of years or more, so why are businesses acting like there's still covid going around and are still in hiding?! They do not wish to show themselves and actually have contact with the customer. When you call them They Don't Pick Up the Phone even when you leave several messages specifically requesting for a live person to contact you back because you have specific questions which the answer is not listed on their damn website, they Stihl refuse to call you back! th
These SOB's keep texting you as your wishes are completely unimportant to them and they insist on their way not what makes the customer happy! As long as they don't get off their lazy butts to show you the units or even answer some damn questions they're happy!
I went to their site, knocked and knocked on the office door,(the manager's car was there according to one of the tenants) but no one would open the door! When you calle, they don't answer it goes to a voicemail and then you get bombarded with some unwanted text which is very annoying they keep asking you to do it yourself! We, as tenants or most likely investing in your product for at least 12 months to rent the joint which pays for your salaries, won't you at least earn it and do some actual leg work?! And I'm talking to all these lazy brokers, management companies that are lazy and just prefer sending you links all day long. I think they use their phone to play Candy Crush or be on the social media all day long!
I feel sorry for the actual apartment complex owners who trust certain management companies read the reviews about the management companies you hire maybe you need to rethink it and hire a new company or discipline them for what they are lacking!
Why when I request a call back I keep receiving texts as if they are too DUMB to understand that I clearly do not wish to do a self-service?! It's uncomfortable for some of us why don't you get it through your skulls people?!
Even though I was present at their site, It took me over 3 hours to finally get into a damn, stinky apartment that was really. You guys might want to get with it and drop the carpet flooring altogether and redo your floors like all the other decent Apartments.
Don't just keep the nasty old brown carpet, it was so nasty, that stinky deodorant they pour over the old carpet when shampooing it. The units smelt like somebody died in there.
I know that's not forget dog poop all over the grass area as I try to look for certain buildings I walked over on their lawn between buildings and there were dog poop everywhere and don't get me started with the parking lot the holes and the unevenness is going to be very hard on your shocks be prepared to do some car repair in those potholes and all got awful parking lot they got.

I applied to be a tenant on 11/08/24 did a whole lesser sign online... paid $2300 and now I can't get ANYONE to Answer me... did I get it, do u need more info What is going on I left text messages, voicemails to pointe and at UDR headquarters... at this point I just want my money back. This is not worth the hassle... DONT GIVE THEM MONEY UNLESS U SEE SOMEONE IN PERSON

DO NOT!! recommended poor management, if you have section 8 forget it you will encounter hidden fees like $300 additional, they do not help you to update your contract in a timely manner and the management are rude and disrespectful. The pool has never been open or clean for the last 1 1/2 my balcony is falling apart there is roaches and the cats jump on top of your car leaving it all scratch up! Also, there is dog poop all over the place.

Seen 2 times the lady at the front pocket money from people paying for their pets crazy to say the least then rent was never stable I hope someone sues them

Everything's your fault but theirs.
Me and my grandma lived here for 2 years, the rent was increased (it was 1950$ ) then it was 2000$ or something like that. We lived in a one bedroom next to noisey neighbors who didn't care if it was 3am(loud music, parties kids screaming) then they raised the rent again!
$2,580 something. Another thing is we called to have stuff fixed no answer, we had one of the maintenance guys come "fix" our heater this is what he said: "id recommend to just buy a plug in heater from the store".
We called for our mold problem they also said you should just clean it. Id recommend not living here because they don't do anything, dogs poop everywhere and noone picks it up, they raised the parking fee constantly and most importantly NO FIXES ANYTHING(fastest way to get into "contact" with someone is email.)
Sad to say this place is a joke.

P.S enforce the law for people who go in the exit and out the entrance.

This is an email that I’ve sent to UDR properties in response to the false accusations of rent not being paid. I sent an email with all documentation proving rent was paid. From my understanding this is an ongoing issue with UDR properties they are extremely unprofessional, unorganized and difficult to get a hold of. These people have threatened our family with eviction due to rent not being paid which is simply untrue. Read below!

If you are reading UDR shame on you!!

Hello,
I have been trying for days to get a hold of someone within the UDR leasing department due to a major discrepancy in our payment records. This issue need to be addressed and resolved in a timely and urgent manner as we are being threatened with eviction.
We received a notice that our December rent was not paid and there has been no record of receipt according to UDR properties. However, as you can see attached I have provided bank statements, and receipt that the payment was in fact made. This is an abhorrent inconvenience to our family and is unbecoming of a professional property management company such as UDR.
Short of providing all financial statements and records that our rent was paid in full for the month of December and November, we are exploring our legal options. We would like a resolution promptly and in the meantime we will be contacting the proper housing and California rental agencies to file proper complaints against UDR.

Attached I have the documents pertaining to this case please advise at your most urgent availability.
