TRASH AT SEATAC
This is the worst place I have ever seen. Donāt even think about living here. You will only have problems. I rented a two-bedroom from August to March, and now Iāll explain just how bad everything got because of the situation.
Letās start with the managers, who simply donāt care about you or your problems. On top of that, they will create problems for you themselves. For example, they lost my money order for 700 dollars. At first, they said they were having computer issues and would fix everything. Then, a month later, the manager said they would fix it that day, and I could go home with no worries.
In the end, I got a call from collectors. They said I hadnāt paid the rent and added a 300-dollar fine. As a result, I had to pay 1,000 dollars. Second, bike theft. We had two bikes and one scooter stolen from the bike room. Do you think they checked the cameras? The managers donāt care about any of it. And when the second theft happened, the thief cut the chain securing the bike.
Third, trash. A pile of garbage could just sit in the hallway for two days. I attached a photo; you can take a look. These are new apartments that turned into a dump in just one or two years. The stench is awful across the entire floor. The parking lot is full of garbage. Dog poops on the floors and elevators. Homeless sleeping in the lobby.
And fourth, the fire alarm goes off almost every day. People got so fed up with it that they stopped going outside. But one day, there was a real fire. Luckily, the firefighters put out the fire quickly, because not everyone believed there was actually a fire.

I'm still living here, I pay rent at the beginning of each month on 1st, it's been 3 times I receive late fee warning that's gonna effect my background. I'm stucked here I want to move as soon as possible, management is super poor and zero customer service i reached out to them they just say that's was a mistake but they repeat their mistake. In addition, very noisy kids around, trash everywhere, smoke detectors runs on every time, no security in case you need. Overall, I personally never ever recommend to live here.

I've lived in several apartment complexes throughout my life, and this is by far the worst one I've ever had the misfortune of staying in. The residents are unruly and let their children tear through the halls unrestrained all hours of the day. If you try to get security or management to intervene, they either ignore your complaints or fail to enforce any rules. The fire alarms ring consistently, and most of the time, they are false alarms. Roving crackheads, criminals, and meth heads roam the common areas outside, blasting music, fighting, and smoking underneath the buildings ALL NIGHT long. The trash room is always a mess with piles stretching deep into the hallways.
And the worst part is that management does absolutely nothing to solve any problem you bring them. They send you links to emails that probably end up in their junk inbox or outright ignore the issue.
If you have any other choice- a bus station, cardboard box, horse stable, or the slave quarters of a southern plantation in 1823- stay there instead. You'd be better off.

UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 2024
After being here for almost two years I have to give Polaris and the office management their flowers for the work they have done to try to make this a better place to live. They have really stepped it up as far as making sure they are taking care of tenants needs and incidents that need to be addressed. Unfortunately, I have to agree with some of the other reviews and say that the main issue is the disrespect the tenants have for the place they live at. Thereās absolutely no consideration amongst others. Trash rooms are a mess even though management posts instructions on where everything goes, speeding in and out of the parking lot, fights at all hours of the night and somethingās always broken. Thereās really only so much management can do to be able to maintain a comfortable living space. Tenants also need to get a grip and be more responsible.
MANAGEMENT, please try to get some signs up in the gym area to at least just state some rules. There are way too many adults that are comfortable bringing their toddlers into the gym. I just came back from my afternoon workout and there was two grown women with toddler's running around in there and on the treadmills. At one point I watched one of the little girlsā sweaters get caught on the walking pad and she ended up upside down. There doesnāt really seem to be much understanding on how dangerous these machines can be for kids.

I would have to rate this establishment a 0 out of 10 if I could. They wrongfully tow people who live here and the Hispanic lady that works in management is completely rude and should definitely take a course on customer service and learn how to properly speak to people. As someone who pays rent to live here it is completely absurd that your employee is telling us that the environment of this establishment isnāt āguest friendlyā and that guest should not be coming here. I think you guys should work on getting more guest parking and showing people alternative areas to park instead of making the idiotic comments that were made. In your mission statement for this establishment it says ā Our team at Polaris is committed to providing a home that is safe and supportive.ā I definitely did not feel safe and supported after getting told those comments by your employee and it goes to show how important it is that you have staff who is properly trained and committed to ensuring that the people who live here feel comfortable and safe. It it also important to have people working here who love their job, want to work here and are respectful and non discriminating to people who donāt look like them. Because at the end of the day this is our home so we should feel safe and feel like we can have our guest over in our home. I will definitely be looking into contacting the owners to discuss this issue further.

This place is horrible. I was so excited to move in back in May. Now I can't wait to get out. Both of the elevators are down multiple times per month, I have a disability, so I cannot handle the stairs. I specifically asked to be put on the first floor due to that disability, but was put on the 4th floor instead. For the amount being charged by this so called "low-income" residence, not including an outrageous additional parking fee, which they do because there isn't anywhere else to park, and the fact that it's a new building, this place is horrifically awful! Currently, both elevators are down and I have no way to get to my apartment. I'm in pain from my medical condition, so when a guy comes over, resets the elevator, but nothing happens. I told him that the other elevator was down due to fire damage but he argued and said it wasn't. Then, as if this isn't enough, he says to walk around to the other building as though I hadn't just told him I am in significant pain. Also, by the way, the other building has no connection, so even if I went there, the elevator will not help to get me to my apartment. The lack of empathy from the staff here is unbelievable! I cannot walk that far. Period.
Then there's the issue with the alarm going off multiple times per week. I truly despise being here. I need to find a first floor apartment without elevators and move there, because I really can no longer handle this. Avoid moving here at all costs. You'll only end up stuck in a year-long lease, being horribly unhappy. If you do choose to move here anyway, well, you were warned. My prayers will be with you.

April 2024 update: things have progressively gotten worse. Management sucks, they seem clueless most of the time and if you need something from them you have to constantly follow up or remind them.
The owners of this complex need to tighten up and hire better employees and contractors, especially the cleaning crew that comes by and essentially does nothing. Iāve seen with my own eyes children riding their bikes in the hallways and dropping their trash on the floor and the security was right there with them like heās their friend.
As any business owner with sense would know, it can only take one situation or mishap for everything to come crashing down. I can definitely foresee that happening. The management needs to stand on the rules and things we should abide by in our lease contract and start picking out the bad apples. There are cameras on the property, itāll be nice if they were actually used to penalize people for the things they do.
Granted when things are accessible to the lower income, it gets ran down pretty quickly. But with proper management and authority, people would do better. Especially those with housing assistance that could have their vouchers and other assistance jeopardized.
The parking garage that we have no choice but to pay $125 for is always trashed. From trash, liquor bottles, and furnitureā¦itās just a big ole mess. In all fairness, if were paying $125 for parking our cars should at the least be safe. The garage is very dusty as well so the cars are always filthy. There have been times where I can tell my car has been tampered with or touched. Thereās times Iāve had food and trash left ON TOP of my car.
Kids are running rampant without supervision. Iāve had someoneās baby walk into my apartment and the mother was nowhere to be found until about 2 hours later. I can only imagine how crazy it will be in the summer when school is out.
I moved into this apartment complex in August and the only positive thing I can say is that moving here has motivated me to get my life together so that I will be in the position to move out at the end of my lease.
First Iād like to start by saying that the parking is $125 monthly, which thereās literally no available parking elsewhere so you have no choice but to pay for parking. The parking garage is regularly flooded because of poor infrastructure that theyāve been repairing since day one, Iām sure the flooding due to the recent fire doesnāt make it any better. If you look up at the concrete in the parking garage youād see there are fine cracks that leak water. It doesnāt take an engineer to see how dangerous that is and that itās a disaster waiting to happen.
The security is pretty much useless. You might see them around the buildings every now and then but for most part theyāre posted up at the gate policing who comes in and out, thereās one security guard in particular (mark) that makes it rather uncomfortable being he profiles POC. I remember when I first moved in my remote to enter the gate didnāt work and he was insinuating that I didnāt live here and I was trying to enter with a remote that was for access to another location, completely insulting my intelligence and integrity.
Iām always having issues receiving my packages which forced me to end up getting a P.O. Box. The staff is rude and unorganized.
The fire alarms are always going off at all hours when thereās no emergency, which is annoying being some of us have babies, have to be up for work or school, etc. it goes off so much that when there was an actual fire nobody was even aware.
For new buildings, things are already raggedy and broken down. I can seriously go on and on about the disparities of living here, I wouldnāt say donāt move here because rent is outrageous everywhere and this is the affordable end but if you can avoid moving here you definitely should.
