I applied for a property but prior to doing so I explained my situation. Paid the money for application fee and was denied for what I told them was already on it. Reaching out and asking for a second chance and thinking you will but denied for what you told them. If I had known I was going to be denied I would’ve just kept my money. Just dumped more money on something that I had already said was there.

Dean said to call him back but never answered. I even left a voicemail. Highway robbery for sure. As from other reviewers, I wouldn’t recommend them because they don’t keep their word. As of now I don’t recommend them. Dean is full of himself and shouldn’t be running the company. But God deals with people like this. He will have to answer one day.

I know DEAN will respond with some kind of condescending response. Like he does with every other person who leaves a negative response. Go DEAN. You’re such a team player.

I have been a tenant for 10 years in my home. PPS Homes- Dean took over 2 years ago with the New owner. I have had nothing but problems since they have taken over. PPS Homes is now asking me to produce receipts from 10 years ago for my Deposit and my Pet Deposit I do not have the receipts any longer so now they are charging me for the pet fee/deposit that I already paid 10 years ago! This statement is to warn anyone considering to rent from PPS Home Please think twice before doing so. PPS Homes is in the business to make money as Dean puts it "it doesn't fit in their business model". The lively hood of good tenants Does Not matter to PPS Homes! I have been month to month for years and now PPS Homes has forced me to a 2 month lease and increased my rent $70, adding a $50 septic fee , and a $75 pet fee per month. After the 2 months is up I must vacate. I also have surgery coming up in May which I have let Dean know and this is how they treat their long time tenants. Again, I would strongly warn anyone from renting from PPS Homes and working with Dean. This is the Worst experience I have ever had in all my years of renting!! I would not give them a star at all! 0 stars!! In response to the "Owners response" so your saying Angus responded to my feed back and is saying that my statement is incorrect? It's all facts.. everything mentioned in my statement/review is all True! The response given is absolutely ridiculous!

I’ve rented from PPS twice and both experiences have been great. Any maintenance issues were addressed promptly and they were fair with my security deposit at the end of my leases. Professional & nice people to work with.

I have been with PPS Homes since 2010, and the team has kept my property rented with only a very very short break in between tenants. Neither tenant has ever said anything negative about their experience, and best of all, it's pretty worry-free for me. Last month the refrigerator broke down, and PPS coordinated with me, found a great new (nicely priced) fridge, and replaced it the same day. It was nice to be able to forget about the issue on the same day I found out that there was a problem.

PPS homes was my property management company for two years. Dean and his crew did an outstanding job managing my home. I was in constant communication with them over the entire two years they managed my property. When things broke, Dean always did an inspection and ensured that I had the ground truth. Dean was a much-appreciated security blanket while living 1200 miles away. Dean also did the sale of my home, he had it sold after three days on the market. A testament to how much he cares about your home is from renters moving out to sale of the house my out of pocket expenses for an 11-year-old home was under $300. I could not have asked for a better company to manage my property.

Dean was the guy in charge before pps fired him last year. My dryer broke and I called him to schedule an appointment to have Lowe’s come out to fix it. I told him when I would be home and Lowe’s shows up 1 week later, and 4 hours early for my appointment, so naturally, I wasn’t home and they left. I told dean about it, and was slightly frustrated that I had to wait another week drying laundry next to the mall. (I HAVE FOUR BABIES) when this guy DEAN has the AUDACITY to ask me “hey, I make mistakes, would YOU do a better job if you had 30 rental homes you were managing?!?” 😳🤣😳😆 buddy my husband rents twice as many rentals as you do, has 6 kids and 3 jobs COMBINED with ME, and you?!? Need to learn your place. Now this chick named “Bethany” who I think is Deans daughter? Runs the show. She’s like 18. (thinks she’s 30) she sucks just as much as dean. Let’s just say, my dryer is still not fixed, and property management companies like this hole in the wall shady side biz needs to close the doors. I’m moving, and I will NEVER recommend this awful company.

My husband and I rented a property from PPS homes from July 3rd 2015 until June 28th 2016. I am having a difficult time writing this review because I was a homeowner for 10 years leading up to my lease, and I am now a homeowner again after moving out, so I do not have a ton of experience with landlords recently.

The initial interactions with PPS were great - we scheduled the showing, applied to lease the place, and scheduled our transfer of keys easily. The house was in great condition and we had very few problems with the house while we were renting.

Our move out process was less than stellar. I took time off of work to do a walk-thru of the property which went swimmingly well. The reason I wanted to be present at the Walk-thru was so we could handle any issues that the property manager brought up. There was no comment that was made to me about things that we needed to do, so I was more than surprised when we were charged $175 cleaning fee (we scrubbed that place before we left) and a $300 landscaping fee (we mowed and weeding and edged the day before we moved out). They never said anything to us, we had cleaning supplied and landscaping supplies there that we would have been more than happy to fulfill any requests that they had. We were homeowners previously and we are now, we take great pride in keeping our home in great shape. We were upset that they didn't even give us an opportunity to clean more or landscape.

If you are looking to rent with PPS homes, please beware that they will try to keep a lot of your security deposit, and the process seems pretty unfair to the renter. On top of this, they have yet to respond to our questions that we have had regarding our lack of return on our security deposit.

Highway robbery. I lived there for almost a 3 full months and during that time I was harassed by the downstairs tenants because my boys had been too loud. They are 4 and 2. On our initial move-in Jan 1st, we had Samara, then Theresa, then Deborah and now Mindy or Many. 4 people in 3 months to work with, who dont have any idea who you are or why you might be calling upset. Theresa was the best and most attentive.
I paid $495 to terminate my lease early because the harassment was too much and PPS said they would talk to the neighbors, but it clearly didnt work. On our 3 month lease we put down a $1000 deposit. $500 was refunded. Next to no explanation as I am friends with the girl who took over my lease and nothing was ever fixed or replaced and no changes were made prior to her moving in besides the carpet being cleaned.
I've been patient. I also sent emails to their support email and no response.
I'm being charged for the December's utility bill $100 and we didnt move in till Jan 1st.
I have over a dozen photos of the immaculate condition I left the unit in. Pristine. I'm a clean freak. But still $500? Sherry wont return my calls and quite frankly is super unprofessional. Dean keeps referring me to his wife and or whoever is tending the office desk at the time.
All in all I'm super frustrated and nobody should ever rent from them. They dont fix anything. Things are still broken. Dont expect your deposit back.
