I recently visited the PMR location in Palm Springs, on East Palm Canyon Drive. The experience was very pleasant. Sadly, I don't remember the name of the gentleman who helped me. But he was very friendly and had me sign in on a tablet before bringing me back to his office. I brought in quite a few coins, about 50, that I got after my father passed away. He checked each and every coin while chatting with me about several different things. Unfortunately, none of the coins was worth more than their face value. But I very much appreciated his time and friendliness.

Disgusting dismissive service. I went in to get an estimate on 2 rings and a gold chain, the guy immediately asked if I was selling today. I let him know I wanted to possibly price compare depending on what they offer me. He said so you are not selling? Then He said well I have to charge you to inspect, I asked how much to inspect and he took a while to think about it and said 50.00. I could tell he made that up. I even told him looks like you made that up on the top of your head. I called other places and another PMR location and they let me know there is no fee to have jewelry looked at. The man at the Palm Springs location basically judged me and made it feel like I was a waste of his time.

He used his extensive knowledge to answer my questions and allow me to come to my own conclusions without feeling any sort of pressure.

I picked PMR because of their TV ads. This was my first exp. w/this kind of service. I worked w/Allen Bencomo to sell my Cartier watch. The process was long and extensive to evaluate and authenticate my watch. Allen was super personable and professional. The final offer was less than I expected however I felt it was fair. I would recommend PMR and would use them again.
