Moved away from the area and preferred property made renting my home for the past six years stress-free and easy. They notified me when necessary but took care of all of the behind scenes work. I still had input on major maintenance and money issues.
After deciding to sell my home, I asked preferred property to sell my home and it was as easy as renting. Avery was fantastic working the mechanics of selling my home. I would absolutely use this team again.

If we could give 0-star, we would. We've been in this home only 2-months and have come home to "maintenance" people in our home with no authorization to do so, this house/property was filthy and decrepit. Their maintenance lady who let herself in illegally reported "evidence" of additional people living with us and pets that we do not have, that generated daily harassment via texts and emails from Preferred Property Management to change our lease and pay additional "non-refundable" fee's which apparently is their modus operandi. We call and email the office and no one will answer you. We now have to engage our attorney, hoping to get out of our recent lease and leave this disastrous situation behind us. What home owner in their right mind would do business with such a shady outfit?

This company is the absolute worst. My husband and I rented a home through their management company for 3 years. Not only did we have horrible issues with maintenance taking over 3 weeks to address issues but they also entered our home without notice while I was home alone, and scared the life out of me. It was so bad the home owner instructed us to direct everything through her. They do not return calls, are extremely aggressive and rude and lie about information. They will not return your deposit and place blatantly incorrect information on the move out paperwork. They charged us for “dirty carpet” in the master bathroom which is obviously tile along with 4-5 other huge misinformation. The home owner was more than pleased with the state of the home and also cannot get in contact with the company. Overall horrible company who do not follow Washington state tenant laws. We contacted proffered property to schedule a move out walk through and we’re denied even when we offered to do so at their convenience. We had to call their office over 5 times to even speak with someone past a receptionist and they began to ignore our calls. When we finally spoke with Steve the owner he was very aggressive and claimed he had been in court for a murder. Extremely unprofessional and I would highly recommend you steer clear from this company at all costs.

Karen & Tom (I believe are their names with maintenance) have been amazing with helping & navigation problems within our unit. They always approach with great attitudes & smiles! We have had several problems within our unit and they are always out here fast to help. We appreciate them so much & once our decks are fixed so our kids can safely be out on them & the dryer vents cleaned so it doesn’t take 9 years to dry a load of laundry we will have no complaints.

These guys have really saved my bacon. As an home owner turned single property “landlord” this property manager has really made the process simple while remaining professional. It’s been years now with them and not a one complaint to be had. They respond to the tenants and me quickly when anything comes up. There maintenance guys are great, office ladies polite and speedy. I love that they don’t pressure me to raise the rent or create false issues to increase their profits. I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of turning their house into a rental.

Terrible company to rent from. They come into your apartment when you aren’t there and do not give notice. They charge you for anything even if it is not your fault. When you try to get ahold of them they do not answer or call back. I would not recommend renting from them.

I’ve been a resident in one of their homes for two years now, and I have had numerous issues with maintenance in that time.
However, it seems that Tim is now back with the company and they have reorganized their structuring so that their maintenance team is available to do actual maintenance. I was shocked when I submitted a request on Friday and they showed up the following Monday. That’s the fastest service I’ve seen yet! I brought up another issue and Tim put in a separate request for me and they returned Wednesday to complete everything I asked.
I hope Tim sticks around for a while and keeps this momentum going.
Joe is very friendly and speedy with his work. Kudos to the maintenance team!
