Premiere has managed my rental properties since 2012. Having them as managers has been a very positive experience. They always keep me well informed about needed repairs and lease renewals. They are quick to respond to questions and the accounting records and payments have always been handled in an accurate and timely fashion. I have had very few issues with my properties, which I attribute to Premiere finding and vetting quality tenants. I highly recommend Premiere as a property management company.

I've been with Premiere Business since about 2010. I was with another property manager for a year before that. I'm so glad to have found them and have nothing but good things to say about them. There level of professionalism is top-notch and the do everything according to best practices which results in above-board tenants and the best handling of my property. They completed renovated my apartment between tenants for more than a reasonable cost and I never had to leave San Diego. I highly recommend them!

Premiere Business Investments has been extremely professional and a pleasure to rent from since day one of inquiring about a property of theirs. My boyfriend and I just left a 4 year lease with a nationwide known property management that couldn't possibly measure up to the quality experience we have had with Premiere Business Investments. As a potential tenant, I found their process to be extremely simple and straight forward. Upon completion of signing our lease, it was a relief to see everything simply laid out in our lease agreement without any surprise fees or random jargon. Our home was very clean and set up exceptionally well. You can tell that they thoroughly thought ahead as far as practicality and efficiency, such as: already installed curtain rods, easy and maintainable landscape, and quality appliances. They even send out HVAC once a month to check our air conditioning and change our filter. Lastly and most importantly, every call and email has been responded to quickly. Every request has been fulfilled fast and their maintenance guy is extremely professional and responsive, no matter what the request. I truly hope they never change!

I am glad that I no longer have to deal with this business. Premiere deals with us, the lowly renters, so that the owners don't have to. If you are a renter- STAY AWAY! Unless you don't mind being taken advantage of.

Renting from premiere started off rough when we moved into a townhouse that wasn't very clean and the A/C was broken in August. My 9-month pregnant wife was not thrilled about that, but it seemed to be our best option. The owner quickly got the A/C fixed and we went on with our year. One strange policy is that we were required (and charged $20 a month) to have someone come and change our one air filter for us. The real trouble started when our lease was almost up.

The rent was going to be raised just a bit, which was expected, so we started looking into buying a home. We did not sign the renewal, and instead decided to move out. BE WARNED though, that in the find print of the renewal lease, you need a 60 day notice of moving out, and by taking no action in the small time period, the default is a month-to month renewal. We gave 45 days notice.

So we were told that we would need to pay for the next month after we had planned on moving out. Instead, it was agreed that we would not need to pay for August if they could get a new renter. I wasn't worried about that because the apartment itself was not bad, and others in the area rented quickly. Now though, Premiere wanted us out ASAP in order to show the apartment empty. So we (myself, my wife, and our 11-month old baby) bumped up our closing date on our new home and rushed to leave the townhouse early so that they could find a new renter.

I have rented from a couple of places and always received my full deposit back because I care for the apartment, always pay on time, and clean up well. Well, this time I cleaned (3 times as requested by Premiere) and it was far cleaner than when we moved in. I was told it was good. When we moved out, the electricity was switched over to our new house. Even though we were no longer living there, Premiere decided to re-activate the electricity in order to show the apartment- and charge us for the electricity while we were not living there (which was extra high because it included an activation fee... and we never told SRP to deactivate OR activate again).

Next, we were told that we would also lose $160 for "general cleaning". So even though the townhouse was far cleaner than when WE moved in, and we were told it was good, they felt that in order to rent it out again it needed a professional "general cleaning". In what universe does this make sense? I'm really not sure. Also, though I asked, no one could explain what was "generally cleaned".

I spent the last couple of weeks trying to talk some sense into the management at Premier with no luck. Their position is that we broke the new lease and they were nice enough to let us leave without charging us another month, and giving us most of our deposit back. In my eyes, we never agreed to a new lease, we were threatened to have to pay for a month in which we were not living in the townhouse plus lose our deposit if we didn't hurry up and leave, told to clean multiple times to get it move-in-ready, LIED to and told that it was good, and lost money in order to turn on electricity and clean an already cleaned townhouse.

Needless to say, Premiere was not pleasant to deal with. They only answer e-mails and phone calls when it is in their advantage, and their hours make it nearly impossible to see them if you have a full-time job. You would save yourself a lot of time and a lot of headaches by staying away.

Reviewing as a renter. This is one of the good companies. I've been a renter long term and have had some real nightmare situations. This company treated me with respect. Rent was easy to pay online. Problems handled promptly and fair. Transactions were done easily via DocuSign and online etc. The house I am living in has moved to a different company and I can already tell I'm in for another nightmare ride. The AC filter change out service is my only complaint. I understand why it is done, but as a busy working person I don't want to set aside time every month to be home for a filter change.
