We worked with Marcus and Jeanette to buy the second home. It was not an easy transaction, as it involved having a lease with grower and it took a huge effort from Marcus to work with lender and grower's attorney and their lender. Marcus and team also helped us communicate with the seller to understand the details of the custom made home even after the transaction was complete.

Marcus did a great job handling the sale of our property. And it wasn't just the sale of any property. My mother passed away and it was the sale of the home where I and my sisters grew up. It was a very emotional time and Marcus did a great job walking us through and handling the whole process as well as being very understanding and compassionate. Being a real estate appraiser, I make numerous phone calls every day to agents and brokers to verify information relating to specific transactions, or to just get some market perspective from the experts in the field. I was pleasantly surprised that Marcus Haney took some time out of his busy day to not only verify the information I was looking for, but to expound on his knowledge of the market (in this case, rural residential estate homes) and really give me some useful feedback regarding the marketplace. With the type of appraisal work that I do (not for lending purposes), it is imperative that I do my homework...and part of that involves getting brokers'/agents' opinions and insight into the market. You can tell when someone takes time out of their day (time that they're not getting paid for) to provide helpful feedback, that they have a serious passion for what they do and see the importance of helping others.
