Albert is honestly a stand up guy that respects diversity and hard workers, the Himalayan people next door to us run a restaurant, and one day I saw him light up about how much he respected them for their entrepreneurship and their success! He is a dream of a land lord, announcing when his handymen will appear days ahead, and he made resigning as well changing room mates exceedingly simple.

Noticing that A lot of these people writing negative reviews about my man got their application rejected, it’s surprising because I am a personal witness to how this guy goes out of his way to get people approved, he does MUCH more than he has to in that regard. When my small business was truly fledgling, he allowed the income I did receive from it to count toward my application, for example.

Considering the cruelty of the current Burly/Winooski housing market, you’d think people would recognize a property manager who has great rates for tenants and gorgeous properties. That’s this guy!

I enjoyed working with Preston Property Management to rent out my rental home. Albert is always quick to respond with any concerns or if I needed additional info. It was always him who you directly deal with so no lost emails or calls between other people. Highly recommend if you are looking to have your rental managed by a professional and lots of experience !

If you have to deal with this company just save yourself some time and go with another place. Albert has 0 clue how to use technology and or effectively communicate with clients. He responds with vague cryptic messages thats if he responds at all. Each time you turn something in he asks for you for something else. He repeatedly told me he needed the documents to be “originals” when he meant he just wanted hard copies... he has a printer and could just print them out but will refuse too do so.

Unprofessional and slow responses everything about preston property management is decades out of date. If you are a landlord I would strongly encourage you to take find a different leasing agency.

I did not have any issues dealing with Albert. Yes you have to fill out a form with last landlords, references, and your current income etc., I thought nothing of this because so many tenants now a days are irresponsible and I felt doing a thorough check was indicative of responsibleness. Other reviews on Albert on this site do seem bad/horrible, but I honestly had a good experience and no complaints. And love the place I just rented for the past year.

Seems a whole lot like scammers. We were offered a place we weren't interested in when they rented the place we wanted to rent to someone else. I think we dodged a bullet and have since found a perfect place, but I paid the higher application fee to avoid having landlords write letters that I could submit, in the interest of time, and to have them pull my credit. We were approved to rent but my past landlord references and personal references were never contacted. More than a month later and there is NO inquiry on my credit report, despite requesting proof that it was done (when I learned my references were not even contacted - I didn't pay more to not even actually have my application processed!) and being told they could not provide me with a copy. I was given a partial refund which I appreciate, but now knowing my credit was NOT run I suspect nothing was actually done to "process" my application.
