We were required move to the Imperial County, specifically El Centro, CA. We were hesitant at first due to rural perception of the city from years of living in San Diego and Los Angeles. However, it was a perception at best. Upon visiting we realized the City met all our needs to include low cost of living, stores, recreational areas, and San Diego being only 2 hours to the west and Arizona only an hour to the east.

Due to prior commitments with work, neither myself nor my wife were able to be physically available for any part of home buying process. Matthew Cowie from Prince and Associates was assigned to us as our real estate agent. While I am sure he was skeptical himself if we were real home buyers or prospective buyers, due to our situation, he took us on full time. He was able to answer all our odd and ignorant home buying questions (First time buying a home), our request for a professional video of the interior, exterior, and sides of the foundation of the house, and constant need to know where we were in the process. Matthew played a huge role in this process, with his combined experience and overall personality, we were able to quickly build rapport with him, even with our long-distance relationship (Keep in mind, we had neither met him in person nor seen the house in person). He was able to actively communicate with us, while negotiating on our behalf, and produced a contract that would not only meet our needs but also the needs of the sellers due to their special circumstance.

If you need an Agent that can think outside the box, actively communicate, understand your wants, and needs, looks the best interest for his client, and pretty much removes the spam, fluff, and the confusing verbiage to make sure you understand the process. He is the Agent you want.

Needless to say, we are HIGHLY satisfied with our home buying purchase, absolutely no complaints or issues, he was professional and humble throughout the whole process and deserves more praise and commendation then what my limited review can provide.
