My husband and I were referred to Jennifer by good friends, and we are so happy they did. We were buying our first house, so we had little knowledge about the process. From our first meeting with Jennifer, she explained to us how everything would work and put us at ease. From then on, she was the best resource we could have had. She clearly has a lot of knowledge about the housing market and what to look for in a home and neighborhood. She often pointed out things to us that we would have never considered ourselves. Further, we never felt like she was trying to push us in a direction we did not want to go in. Importantly, client service is her strength, and we felt supported throughout the entire process. All of our questions were answered (almost immediately), and we often deferred to her expertise since we trusted her opinion completely. Jen helped my husband and I find our house in Lake Highlands and sell our old house in the Urban Reserve this year. I selected Jen as our realtor because her previous legal experience makes her an extremely competent and fierce negotiator. As a commercial real estate attorney, I didn't necessarily need to hire a realtor but Jen's expertise in the market and legal acumen make her an unbeatable asset to have on your side. What I loved about working with Jen is that she always had a solution or workaround to offer to help move negotiations forward so that we were able to secure the offers we wanted (both on the buyer and seller side) quickly. Jen is very thorough, responsive and diligent; she was always prepared to jump on whatever house we wanted to look out and I really appreciated her critical eye.
