I don't usually take to reviews for grievances, but the experience I have had with Properties by Landmark Inc. is something I feel obligated to share for the benefit of potential renters.

I moved into my home, looking forward to a peaceful and private residence that I could call home. Instead, I've been subject to an unprecedented amount of intrusions, negligence, and unwarranted hassles.

Properties by Landmark, the home owner, and their associates have made nearly 70 unannounced visits since my move-in date less than 11 months ago. The continual invasion of my privacy has greatly affected my quality of life, and has made me feel uncomfortable in my own home. I work from home and have had meetings interrupted and an overall sense of unease due to the constant, unpredictable visits.

When I voiced my concerns to the landlords, hoping for a change, I was met with even more retaliatory intrusions and additional inspection demands instead of a solution or an apology.

I trusted Properties by Landmark to provide a professional and respectful service when I signed my lease. The landlords have shown a flagrant disregard for their tenants' rights, and their failure to uphold their legal obligations has been incredibly frustrating.

I'm now forced to resolve this in court, an ordeal I would have never imagined facing when I signed my lease.

Your home should be your sanctuary, a place where you feel safe, comfortable, and free from unwarranted invasions of privacy. Sadly, my experience with Properties by Landmark has been the exact opposite.

To Properties by Landmark, I urge you to take this feedback seriously, reassess your conduct towards your tenants, and act with the respect and professionalism we deserve.

We have been extremely pleased with Landmark. They have managed our property for the last 12 years and the only reason we are leaving is because we are selling our home.
They do an excellent job of screening tenants. Our property has been tenant occupied all but 4 months of the last 12 years and we have had no tenant issues.
They are responsive when we need maintenance or repairs and will help us get the work completed at a reasonable rate.
We have enjoyed working with Heidi and Greg and their staff. We would not hesitate to use them again.

One of the very limited few property management companies in immediate area. Very dishonest owners and employees. I recommend you seek rentals with other two local rental companies. They do not return deposits. Never drop cash or keys . Always be present and document everything!!

SLUM LORDS OF AMERICA! They make promises, run the property into the ground, then charge you for everything. $700 cleaning fee, when it was deep cleaned. Avoid them all all costs...Mike....hes a saleman with endless promises that will never happen.

I have been renting with Landmark for over 17 years. Greg and Heidi are the best, they always were. Prior to the couple taking over the business, Linda, Greg's mother owned it. I had the same experience with her. They always answer my calls or emails, they have an awesome front desk person. If you are a good renter, they are more than helpful and respectful. I have never had such a good experience with a property management company

From start to finish, working with LandmarkPM has been very smooth. They were accommodating in working long distance for our initial application. The property was clean and in good repair when my family moved in to the property and it was as described. When an appliance had its gremlins, they had repair techs out to fix it, and always in a timely fashion. No long delays.

When we stop renting, the process was without any hidden hitches or fees. All the hard work my wife put in to the final cleaning was recognized.

Although when we first started renting from Landmark my room mate and I were nervous because of a few bad reviews and inability to get a hold of staff, I feel much better today. I filed a maintenance request last month to replace my window. Not only did they replace my window they also replaced my room mates window. The window looks good and no air or moisture can get through. It is a relief to have a response, but they really went above and beyond my hopes. For those who do have difficulty getting ahold of staff I would recommend going through property managers first.
