This review is for our agent, Shaye Lastra, who helped us buy our first home. Shaye was beyond phenomenal from beginning to end. She was easy to work with, listened and actually remembered things we told her, and patiently walked us through every step of the home-buying process (not always easy when you're dealing with clueless newbies).

When our first mortgage lender fell through in a terrible way, Shaye was quick to get us connected with another, better lender, who approved us in just two weeks. When our developer was slow to respond to our (and other owners') various maintenance needs, Shaye went beyond the call of duty to get the seller/sponsor and others involved to have our concerns addressed ASAP. Mind you, at this point, the sale was done and we had closed, so there was no need for Shaye to help us--but she did.

Shaye is an exceptional agent and an even better human being, and she is the best person you could ask to work with for something as personal and important as buying a home. We are lifelong fans and would recommend her to anyone interested in buying a home in NJ.
