I bought my house 10 years ago and lived in it until I moved away with my partner. I went back and forth between selling and landed on trying my hand at being a landlord. I had no clue where to start so I tried a local well known PM company who had a good reputation. Unfortunately they weren't staffed to handle a pipe leak that occurred leaving my home empty for 9+ months and tens of thousands of dollars of loss. Next, I found a smaller scale PM since I figured I was in the clear for large issues. It also didn't work out and I was disheartened about my choice to rent out my property. Horrible customer service. Made sure I had the morning off to tour one of his homes for rent. Got there 20 mins early to make sure if he happens to get there early we can get in and out to not waist his time and morning. 5 mins before our appointment he sent me a text (not a call) to let me know house has been rented. I called him and Paul stated someone applied and got approved THIS MORNING. So instead of calling me this morning you waited until 5 mins until our appointment to let me know it’s been rented. DID NOT SEEM APOLOGETIC. Horrible communication!!!
