Today after hiking in Kentucky at Carter Caves, we drove towards home and stopped off in Huntington at Pullman Square to have late lunch early dinner at Roosters

We stopped at a bookstore slash comic book store to purchase a few books. We checked out a few other shops. Took some quick pics with kids with some of the stationary artwork pieces along the streets. Very lovely pieces!!!
We had a nice afternoon before the rain came pouring down!!

Pullman Pets is locally owned and downtown Huntington convenient. They carry the top of the line products and the staff is cooperative and knowledgeable. They offer birds and fish but no bunnies, puppies, kittycats or hamsters. Frequently, there's a donation box for a deserving local rescue. I was able to find what I needed and then some. Good experience and first rate vibes.

I've spent many days wondering around visiting the different shops and restaurants. It's a great place for live music in the spring/summer they have a little bit of everything at Pullman. And walking distance to the beautiful Harris River Front Park. Parking is everywhere. Depending on the event. Walking distance to the mountain health Arena also.

⛲Pullman square as a rather beautiful place to look at with lots of shops and restaurants... You will also find a bookstore and Marquee cinemas... But don't spend all your money... It goes quick here... Please spend responsibly.

Absolutely beautiful! Tons of nice shops, a cinema, restaurants, Starbucks and of course the best of ALL, T-Mobile! Beautiful place to spend the day or have a date night! Well done!

This place just keeps going downhill and it’s one of three only “hot spots” in Huntington to take visitors. When it first opened, 20 years ago, it was the nicest place you could go in Huntington with friends on Friday night. It had shopping and great dinner options. Now, it looks like its days from closing. There’s nothing worth shopping, the sidewalks and walking paths are so bumpy, an individual in a wheelchair could very well fall out of their chair hitting the cracks. It’s EXTRA work to get around the place, even when we were two of the ten people around. The elevator was broken this past Sunday. For individuals who are physically unable to use the stairs, a broken elevator is unacceptable. We had to go all the way around to the street to push uphill on a wonky sidewalk only to realize we still couldn’t get upstairs to Roosters. We went to Black Sheep and that was an even worse mistake. Just an overall disappointing experience back home this weekend. Someone needs to make a few multi million dollar investments in the area and bring all those shops and restaurants back to their former glory.
