A lovely nature hideaway with many different trail options. Everytime I walk there I always see people walking their dogs or riding their bikes. It really is such a neat area that almost seems hidden in the middle of a neighborhood, I absolutely love coming here to enjoy nature. There are tons of birds, I've seen my fair share of frogs, and even a few lizards. All around a very gorgeous place for a walk.

I remember walking my dog around there years ago. It's been a couple of years since I've been up there, but I'm willing to bet that there's still some broken glass bottles up by the rock in the shaded area, around the south west side of the pond.
I also remember 10-13 years ago that my dad took me out there to launch some small rockets, and to fly a remote controlled airplane.
Never really got into it, but it was a unique experience.

This is a surprise pond in the area behind the park. There are swans who nest here and cool ducks... the inlets and outlets are neat to explore. It's a nice relaxing walk around the pond. I have tried fishing here but see it pretty frequently... I can't imagine there's anything huge in there but who knows!
