Perfect location for riding the Pocahontas trail system. The Store is well stocked with anything you need and they are located only a two minute ride to the local dollar store if there is anything out of stock. Lots of room around the cabins to easily maneuver large trailers. Plenty of room to park our vehicle, trailer and UTV without getting into anyone's way. Amenities outside of the cabins were nice, comfortable and well maintained (Picnic tables are in good shape, Fire ring was clean and large enough for a good camp fire, no litter laying around, etc.).

This was our first stay at Real Mccoy cabins and we had such a great time! Our cabin was very clean, cozy and comfortable.
Don, Ginger and family provide amazing friendly hospitality and the home-made food was absolutely delicious. (We recommend the pizza and crockpot chicken and dumplings.)
We also enjoyed homemade breakfast biscuits that we took out on the trails with us.
You are easily able to access the Spearhead and Hatfield Mccoy trails from this location. Our visit was quiet, relaxing and packed with full of fun adventures around these beautiful small towns of Pocahontas and Bramwell.
We will be returning very soon for another visit.

I would give 10 stars for the service , the family is just super friendly and will help you all they can. Rooms are nice and cozy, location was fine for us. Very peaceful and quiet!!!
The food is homemade and very good, we happen to be there during remnants of hurricane Helene hit and power went out( no fault of owners). They prepared all of us breakfast and supper on their personal grill and had supper ready when we came back off the trails. I could go on but bottom line we are staying again without hesitation

Real home feel and the hospitality to match. Food is delicious, convenient and very well priced. The store offers all the basic necessities and then some!!

The owners are right on site for your convenience and you get to get to talk to a real McCoy and enjoy her delicious cooking. Would definitely come back and bring all my friends.

This was our second stay at The Real McCoy Cabins and it was just as great as the first time. Ginger and Don go out of their way to make sure everything is just to your liking. Before we left for our first day on the trails, we had a delicious and hardy breakfast at the store. Then, when we arrived back, Ginger brought in the amazing chicken and dumplings in a crockpot. Wow! So good for dinner and enough to have the next night. On our second morning we went a little bit lighter for breakfast, but still delicious, and had a bacon and egg sandwich. Not only was the food great, but the cabins are SO nice. Slept very well each night and in the morning had a cup of coffee from the keurig. TV was great and so was WIFI. Access to the H&M Pocahontas trail was just over a 2 mile ride into Bramwell, WV, which was super convenient. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabins were very well kept and clean. We liked the location, which is remote and not a tourist trap. The staff was friendly and helpful. Access to Hatfield and McCoy trails is an easy ride on your ATV/UTV.
We would most definitely recommend staying here!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Real McCoy Cabins! The location was perfect for riding both Spearhead and Hatfield McCoy trails. The property was quiet and peaceful yet convenient to the adorable town of Pocahontas. Our cabin was very clean and comfortable. We ordered all of our meals from the store and the food was SO GOOD! Prices were very reasonable and portions were huge. I highly recommend staying here!
