[Totally neglected property. Thousands of dollars to repair]
During our last lease, Real Property Management Ventura County came under new ownership (September 19th 2017). We immediately noticed a deterioration in the quality of our service. Our monthly ownership statements were not being posted to the online portal each month.Emails were ignored, and our attempts to call were met with voicemail.

Each month, as part of our contract, we were billed for gardening services. Real Property Management Ventura County billed us for the service and then failed to pay the gardener (according to the gardener).

Our tenants violated a provision of their lease requiring them to maintain the lawn. For six months the lawn received no water, in fact the wires from the sprinkler timers were cut and 4000sqft of grass died. Since there was no gardening service, there was no one there to notify us of what was going on.

At the end of the lease they refunded the tenant the FULL deposit without consulting us.

We are out THOUSANDS of dollars to restore the property to the initial condition. After the tenants moved out Real Property Management consistently failed to respond to emails and phone calls.

After the tenets moved out, we finally secured an in-person meeting at the property with the property manager and leasing agent. The property manager acknowledged the poor condition of the property, but refused to acknowledge their neglect of my ownership interests. The leasing agent wouldn't do me the courtesy of getting out of their vehicle to speak with me.

We plan on settling this issue in small claims court.

Do not work with the new owners of this franchise.

This company, my friends, is truly something special. And let me tell you about a chap called Paul, who has a thing for the Norwegian blue parrot - it's not pining for the fjords, I assure you. In my time, I've seen more companies than a duck sees ponds, but this one stands out like a goose in a flock of pigeons. And Paul, oh Paul, he's like a bird whisperer, always handling any issues that fly his way with grace and finesse, a man with the professionalism and charm of a parrot on a pirate's shoulder. I recommend this company, and especially Paul and his feathered friends who are definitely alive and well.

I have been tenant of RPM (Real Property Management Ventura) while renting a beautiful home for a Client of theirs in Simi Valley. As a tenant I have experience with them but it just so happens that I also own my own Property Management Company so this review is both my professional and personal opinion. RPM’s two Owner’s and their staff, Brittni and Cheryl are professional, courteous, fair, timely in their responses to tenant issues and did a great job caring for the property with regular inspections and preventative maintenance. The Owners of their properties should be proud to have them. The Maintenance issues that they were in control of were always addressed rapidly and most cost effectively for their Clients. What I was most impressed with was their integrity and clear communication throughout my 4 years under their Management care. If I were not taking new Clients myself I would highly recommend them ;).

This is the most horrible unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. The owner is a liar and a thief. Never any returned calls, would only get texts. No business office to go to. this company is full of scam artist. rented from them for over two years and never late, when I moved I gave them expected 30 day notice and never got my deposit back. after 2 months got a letter saying that home was damaged and late on rent. She gave me about 1% of my deposit!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!! IF YOU DO YOU WILL SEE YOURSELF!
