You're not going to believe my experience with this agency. I'm still in disbelief about the lack of communication. A friend and I applied for a spot we absolutely loved, it had been on zillow for 30+ days with 2 price drops.

We called Crystal, who politely answered all of our questions. When we got off the phone I texted her our email addresses so she could forward us the application, no response. A few hours later I call her, no answer. I leave a voicemail. No response.

We locate the application online and fill it out that night (granted probably should have just done that from the start). I hear back the next day that they are waiting for my employment verification. I talk to my boss and he responds with it within the hour. I hear nothing back, so the next day I email them asking them to confirm if they received my work verification.. Im not even kidding guys NO RESPONSE AGAIN.

The weekend passes, my friend and I hear nothing. I assumed we would Monday so let it slide (big mistake). Monday comes along still nothing. Tuesday we start frantically reaching out. We get ahold of Crystal, she says she never received my friends work and landlord verification. Turns out the email my friend sent the work verification letter to wasn't where it was supposed to go (very unclear) and my friend also got her landlady's email wrong (fatal mistake).

Wednesday rolls around and there is still NO PROACTIVE COMMUNICATION on crystals end. She is answering the phone, but she isn't following up confirming that she got the paperwork. I called her wednesday morning asking what we can do to move things along. She says she is going to have her team look for the paperwork. I ask where we're supposed to send it to, she now gives us her personal email. We send the paperwork right away and I send a follow up text asking her to confirm that she got it. NO RESPONSE.

I call Crystal a few hours later, and she says the landlady of the property just left her a message saying that she wants to take the property off the market and that the home is no longer available. She says the landladys family will stay in it now instead. I want to believe it, but I also know that's a go to excuse if someone legally qualifies but you don't want to rent to them.

Is the landladys family moving in? Could things have turned out differently if there was a shred of urgency or communication? I guess I'll never know.

I would have LOVED if we were notified that they never received my friends paperwork, so we could have got on it a lot sooner. Also would have loved more clarity around WHERE to send follow up paperwork. I know we f*ed up with a misspelled email address, so full accountability for that, but honestly i dont think it would have made a difference anyway. Big sad.

After dealing with real estate agents for the last 25 years, I can honestly say that Nikki and the team at Realty Pros NW are at the top.

To me, what makes a good agent/agency is clarity and great communication and they do both better than anyone I’ve worked with in the past 15-20 years.

I’ve been dealing with an issue with an agent at another company (rhymes with cheapfax) and Nikki has even checked in with me to see how it was going even though it has nothing to do with her.
