We almost purchased a house that was full of structural damage, and she pointed out some things that she was uncomfortable with, and she was so honest about it, she had me contact our construction contractor and he told us that it would be very costly to repair the damages that were happening to the house. By way of background, I was a first-time home buyer. Ravin has helped me and my family purchase 2 homes and sell our first home she helped us in purchasing. We are in the market again to sell and purchase again fortunately. It’s an honor to be able to write a review for such a professional but great human being. Our relationship from client to buyer/seller grew into friends/family. I had no idea about the process whatsoever when I first started taking a look at homes, or what to expect throughout the process. I also work in the Banking/ Finance industry in a leadership role and am very aware that it is wildly important to ensure that: (1) your clients have the necessary information to make informed decisions (whether small or big, like purchasing a house); and (2) that their expectations are established appropriately and met. Ravin exceeded in both aspects every time we worked with her.
The amount of effort and time she put into walking me through the process is unbelievable. From the first day that we met, she spent their entire evening walking me through the “big picture.” From there on out, she was always available to provide me with the information that I needed (or didn’t need, but needed for the sake of my sanity) – every decision that I made, small or big, mattered to her. Not only did I feel like I had all the information I need to make those decisions, but I also felt like I was in good hands. Especially because, as a first-time buyer, I didn’t know all of the right questions I should be asking (or do’s and don’ts, for example) and she would proactively provide this information, which made me feel like I was walking through this process with eyes wide open. From an expectations perspective, I don’t know how Ravin does it – and to the fault of everyone else I worked with – they set my expectations high and not unrealistically high because they would meet them.
Making an informed decision is the most important part of buying a home. But personally, as being “emotionally” invested as well in buying a home, having someone who properly set, managed, and came through with: expectations was such a lifesaver and made me feel so at ease throughout the entire process. And on a related note, as a first-time home buyer, I’m not sure what to expect, what’s good/bad, etc., and she was always so candid and provided her perspective of different aspects of each home that she thought would be relevant to my decision making based on what they had learned about me. I truly appreciated her input and relied on it heavily. This is an invaluable quality to have as a service provider and not everyone has it, but, IMO, it is crucial to keep those around that do. It’s easy to push paper and get the signatures, but she focused on making sure people are satisfied through the process and with the outcome. Again, for a first-time home buyer, this process is very stressful. Yes, there are several things that people can do to make it easier. But as you can see, based on the above, Ravin went above and beyond (as I’m positive they do with all of her clients) and truly made me feel like I had a confidant/partner throughout.
I’m one of the first of my friend group to buy a house, so there were no – “well what do you think” or “what feedback did you have in your experience” talks – except with Ravin. And that’s not in their job description, and it truly makes me consider them not just an agent, but a friend and family. Overall, I would strongly recommend Ravin to anyone looking to buy or sell a home, especially if they are first-time homebuyers but even if you aren't. Her 30+ years of knowledge and understanding are impeccable. But most importantly you'll be working with someone who looks for your benefit every step of the way. Such a great genuine soul you don't get to meet nowadays. I would trust her with my eyes closed and her attention to detail and level of time/dedication to their clients is outstanding.
