Aaron is solely responsible for helping us buy our first house during one of the hottest housing markets to hit Seattle in decades. We started our search with fairly unreasonable expectations for what we could afford, and Aaron worked diligently over the course of a year to finally land us the perfect home of our dreams! Aaron knows the market like the back of his hand and was able to guide us with positivity and drive. He constantly treated us as if we were his only client and was always available for last minute questions and requests (of which we had many). Communication was extremely easy and Aaron was always explicit in his thoughts - the market was extremely difficult to navigate and Aaron made sure to never sugar-coat his opinions on our chances or the conditions of the homes we viewed. We attribute our accepted offer to the insight he provided and the proven dedication he displayed towards our success. We're extremely happy with our experiences with Aaron (and his team) and highly recommend him to everyone.

Working with Aaron and his team was a blessing. We were first time home buyers and so it took us a while to figure out what we wanted and where. Aaron offered so much great advice and perspective and has an immense knowledge of the area, he was also very patient with us and our millions of questions. There is also the additional bonus of Aaron just being a wonderful human being and we really enjoyed being around him and felt immediately very comfortable. When we found the perfect house at the perfect price in the perfect neighborhood, the Janus group team was very supportive and communicative and helped us through the entire process. Aaron served as my realtor twice and I had excellent experiences with him both times. The first was to see my parents mid-century modern home. It needed work before it could be sold and Aaron knew exactly who to contact for good service at a reasonable price. He was very responsive and friendly at all times and got a good price for the house. The second time I used Aaron was to sell undeveloped land in Issaquah. Due to a variety of problems with the lots and location it took awhile, but Aaron once again had good ideas about how to make the land more saleable and put me in touch with good contractors. I would definitely use Aaron again if I was selling a home or land in the greater Seattle area.

As first-time home buyers, we had no idea what to expect from a real estate agent. Deciding to work with Aaron Janus was the best choice we could have made.

Most importantly, it’s clear that he’s on your side. We took a lot of time, and had a few false starts in our home buying journey, but Aaron was right there with us. He never pressured us into a decision we weren’t 100% comfortable with. He took the time to really understand our needs and made sure that every house fit those requirements.

He is super well informed. The Seattle housing market continues to change quickly, and Aaron made sure that we were considering both short and long-term factors in our decision. He also introduced us to a few neighborhoods that we wouldn’t have found on our own.

Aaron has a great sense of humor. After a long work day, it can be hard to find the energy to look at houses, but Aaron was always able to pick us up and make an evening of driving all over the east side pretty enjoyable.
