I've enjoyed living in 'The New Madison Building' managed my RenCorp Realty for over 4+ years now, and I can honestly say this is the best place I've ever called home! They have honored their rental agreement with me and have always been prompt to solve any issues or maintenance requests I may have. The maintenance and janitorial staff are very friendly, and they are all part of what makes this building community so great! If you are new to the area and looking to live amongst warm and friendly people, this is the perfect place for you!

They will ruin your life. They deal in shady practices at this place. Illegal activities and repairs that are not properly done by a licensed tech. They make you use your vehicle to work with. They will take advantage of you. And if you make a simple mistake. They throw you out and get rid of you like a pest. If you refuse to use your rig for any reason. They get an attitude with you. Threats of losing your job. Repairs they make on the buildings are done secretly so as to not have to pay an actual licensed tech to do it right. Don't rent from them either. Unless you want to be screwed over in the long run. Good luck if you do decide to rent from or work for this company. They will throw you under the bus and accuse you of things you have never done. Just to rid of you.

Our experience so far has been great. We Met Ivy and toured a few spots. She's down to earth and very kind. I think I actually got confused as to which location to met up with her and tour locations. She was very understanding. There property's are beautiful. I'm definitely updating should we end up securing one of thier beautiful apartments. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Greetings,

I DO NOT recommend being a tenant under RenCorpRealty. I don’t like coming off as a “Karen” but I feel like any future tenants should be aware of this. I was an honorable tenant that always paid my rent on time, cleaned up my dirty apartment that I arrived to without creating a big fuss over it, and left my apartment better than what is was when I left. This does not matter to this company, they will scam you and not return your full security deposit once you leave. They will either use the money stolen from you for unknown reasons, make false claims, or use it to fix any pre existing issues that was inherited to you and isn’t your responsibly to pay for. If you do decide to still become a tenant for this company, I highly recommend you to take videos/photos of every single square inch of the apartment so that they won’t take advantage of you as well. Have them clean your apartment that you move into and do not do it yourself, as they will most likely steal your money and charge you anyways. Good luck.

I have not gotten my deposit back since my lease ended about 11 months ago. Now graduated from my program I have time to pursue this. I will update this review once I get my deposit back. It is not ethical to take people's deposits that left no damage. There are many other reviews about deposits not being refunded, I would hope any new potential tenants take these reviews seriously.

*update 3/18/25*
I have yet to receive my deposit after a significant amount of time. After discussing the issue with others and conducting research, it appears that pursuing a claim through small claims court may be my next course of action. It's unfortunate that the situation has escalated to this point. I would recommend considering other options, as the process of going to court is not something I would advise. Save your money and avoid potential complications.

I mean pick your poison because all of these monopolistic agencies are predatory but I have nothing good to say about whomever (currently) runs this company and none of the honest workers or tenants that I have spoken to have anything good to say either so let me be one more to add to the honest reviews that I see on here. The others are fluff to raise their poor standing.

I've been here three years. I have always paid my rent and responded to requests and overall tried my best to be transparent and work with them when personal things were out of my control but they don't really care...and will rarely respond..Your best bet is to just document everything and know your rights as a tenant in Washington state and communicate with fellow renters. Please take photos and notes upon move in.

** That response was pretty instant,.. wasn't it? That's such a lie. You do not try to be communicative. Just take the review and do better.

I am a previous tenant of the Buena Vista building recently purchased by RenCorp. I moved out April 23rd and have not received my security deposit. After countless attempts I have decided to pursue this. I would not recommend living in any buildings managed by this company.

UPDATE: So, apparently they, in fact, do afterhours lockouts, which I was told the next morning. The lady who answered their afterhours line either just didn't want to do it or didn't know what she was talking about.

What kind of property management company doesn't do afterhours lockouts? I lost my keys, and instead of having someone I can call and pay for a lockout, I'm just supposed to get a hotel? Mind you, their hours of operation are 10-2 four days a week, which is unheard of.
