AVOID | Real Estate Broker | Hired Rentable for Lead Generation | AVOID

My firm hired ABODO.com / Rentable.co for a marketing / lead generation campaign we ran for over three months 2Q22 and produced ZERO closings. Not one of the leads was qualified for the property listed. The leads may have been bots since almost all had a zero response to calls, texts or emails. While the team is very attentive and responsive the results were VERY disappointing. We are based in NYC and the service offered was a complete waste of our budget. AVOID if using for the NYC area.

Their maintenance man that services Thurber Gate Apartments is terribly rude and just barges into apartments and barks commands. The apartments themselves are overpriced and not well kept. A year or so before I moved in I was warned the entire balcony on the 3rd floor had collapsed. The volleyball court is full of rocks and weeds and has been for 3 years. The actual staff in the office is great. Our apartments have been treated for roaches 4 times in the past year so now I have my apartment lined with diatomaceous earth as I don’t want toxic chemicals sprayed in my apartment every 3-4 months.

CAVEAT DEBITOR (RENTER BEWARE)!

In a world where "Fake it til you make it" is the currency, Rentable rules! Well done, scraping free information from all over the interwebs. I'm ashamed that 1-star was the minimum.

There is an listing for our property that is befuddlingly inaccurate: wrong prices, incorrect availability. The phone number IS correct, however, so prospects call us and are themselves befuddled (trying to use that word more, and Rentable makes it easier!) that "our" listing hasn't been updated. Bordering on defamation is what it is.

The best part? Here it is the middle of August, the busiest apartment month here in Madison (just slightly a college town), and no one (not even crickets) are answering their phone.

Hope someone calls me back so I can get them to remove us from their hacked site.

This company has my home listed for rent for $1400 a month. That is not my listing. I have it listed through my broker on MLS for $4200/month. This ADOBO listing is a fraud, and I can't reach a live person to deal with this problem after numerous emails and phone calls.

It's Madison... Sooo if you can't overpay to live around a bunch of rude, smug hipsters with no identity of their own in a town the size of half a music festival in Germany... you probably can't live here or anywhere else like it. I'm sure their hotel room sized apartments are nice enough though... nothing special but nice enough.
