A pleasant walk around the water in Mauston. We loved the interesting design of the pavilion, the paths, and the waterfront access. There are public restrooms, a playground, and plenty of parking. You can also follow the walkway across a bridge to continue walking around more of the lake. A very nice area to hang out and relax!

Mostly clean. Lots of geese crap on the docs and close to the water. Bring shoes or a folding chair if you plan on fishing.

Absolutely beautiful! We saw a harmless snake, some geese, various small fish and of course, ducks. Very quiet place to visit and walk the dogs, they really enjoyed the decoy wolves.

What beautiful park! Stopping for lunch on a long roadtrip, it felt like luxury. There are round pavilions with picnic tables, near the nice concrete walk that runs along the bank of the river. The bank has big rocks and pretty wildflowers. The kids enjoyed stepping on the rocks to look more closely at the lily pads. It was easy (and free) to park on the street and there was plenty of space. There is a decent-sized playground that seems relatively new, based on the shape it is in. There is a public restroom and a water fountain. I noticed a few people with fishing poles, but since there was so much space, we weren't in each other's way at all. Even though it was a beautiful day, and the weekend, it wasn't crowded like a big city park might be. Wonderful experience!

Good place to fish. Wish I had more time there. I didn't catch any big ones but I'm sure they're in there. I did catch a lot of little guys. Would be a great place to take kids to fish. Beautiful area!

This park provides a beautiful walk along the river with piers for fishing or just taking in the sights. The playground is new and kids love it. There is also a shelter and plenty of grass if you just want to bring a blanket and enjoy the day or have a picnic.
