I was shocked at the persistence and overall general care given to me by Angelica Savoy- Community Director Riverstone Apartment Homes and staff. They went above and beyond to extend me every courtesy in a matter that took a great deal of time to resolve( on my end not Riverstones). They were patient, did several follow ups, and were willing to provide me any documentation I needed as soon as I needed it. I can not thank them enough for their patience and diligence. By far the most professional people I've ever worked with. Highly recommended renting from this company. They hire great people.

Although it was a good apartment, and maintenence guys were awesome, don't expect the office staff to be nice or treat you well once you decide to move out. Good luck on getting any of your deposit back, thier accounting is only designed to keep as much as possible, and even though I was a professional cleaner for many years, they still charged me nearly $200 for a "cleaning fee".
It was far more spotless than what I got when I moved in, but they just argued about it with me.

We complained about the carpets fraying for the entire 4 years I lived there, and the cabinets were so chipped and broken that the pieces of wood would get all over our hands.

We also asked about getting the counter tops redone because the epoxy coating they put over the tiles was chipped and peeling. It was unsanitary.

The hot tub on the side nearest our apartment we called about several times and was never really hot and often was broken down. The person in the office also called my wife my "companion" (we are married, have the same last name and I have referred to her as my wife before) and then when we both pointed it out to her she said 'I would never say that' and I must have misheard her. I didn't mishear, and that was not an apology.

You also have to pay for the water, although it is shared by all the apartments and the apartment itself. There was often sprinkler heads that would get popped off and would dump loads of water, and unless I called several times to report it, it wouldn't get fixed. 'Water conservation' was not in thier vocabulary, although the grounds looked nice.

Know what you are getting into, and adjust your expectations accordingly.

I lived in this complex for almost a year from April 2019 through end of March 2020. I had an outstanding experience living here. This was my first time renting an apartment and the service they provided was very warming, welcoming, professional, and friendly. I recommend this apartment complex if anyone is looking for highly committed staff, this is your place.

Deanna was highly responsive to any questions I had, and the maintenance staff were quick to resolve any issues I had with the place. Overall, my stay here was stress free. I also felt very secure with the area—my neighbors were extremely friendly and nice.

My family and I called our Riverstone appartment home for 3 years in a 2 Bedroom 1 bath. The closets were spacious and numerous. The layout was great for keeping an eye on small kids while you went through your daily housework. We felt very safe on the property and in the neighborhood. So many great parks! The staff was So very good to me. They were very communicative, friendly, responded quickly when I needed something and helpful. It is not without a heavy heart that we moved out. Would recommend Riverstone to any family!

My family and I had the pleasure of calling the Riverstone Apartments "home" for over 3 years. We rented a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom on the 2nd floor that had just the right amenities and allowed us to have our dog. The office team consisting of Deanna and Kathryn are awesome. They were very helpful and responsive whenever we had questions or concerns. The facility maintenance team consisting of Angel and Miguel are great. Very friendly and knowledgeable, they took care of any items needing service within a reasonable amount of time (varies on urgency of item needing attention). I definitely recommend them to anyone looking to rent in the beautiful Pocket area of Sacramento, California.

I lived here peacefully for 5 years when Deanna was manager. Since Ashanti Avery and Cory Barringer took over this place has become a terrible place to live. They "misplaced" $400 of my rent and were very rude and unprofessional about their mistake. They threatened to evict me, towed my guests and refused to renew my lease stating that i owed a balance. After months of harrassment they located the $400 and made no apologies. The $400 check was sent to FPI Managment's main office.

The maintenence was terrible as well. Ashanti would never schedule maintenance at a time that worked for me. Maintenence would not respect my religoius beliefs and remove their shoes or wear shoe covers before entering my unit. I would take off work to be home and they would still show up with no shoe covers. The maintenece told me I should be maintaining my own unit since i didnt want their shoes on my carpet.

I would not give this place my business and not recommend them to anyone. I would give zero stars if possible.

I felt very welcome when I was staying at Riverstone. From the first time I walked in for inquiry to the move out inspection, the staff was always very nice and friendly. And they really tried their best to accommodate all my requests. Another big plus was the maintenance team. I used to live in an apartment complex not far away from Riverstone and it took them a month to replace my broken washing machine. Riverstone was the complete opposite. They were able to replace my fridge on the same day when it broke down. Overall, very positive experience. I would not have left if not for work relocation.

Cory is amazing! My sister and I were helping my mother get a new apartment and Cory was incredible. We had a short timeline and he worked diligently to get all the required documents for her application to be processed. He was extremely responsive and helpful with the entire process and my mother loves her apartment. I would highly recommend this place and Cory.
