They may not look like much from the outside, but these apartments are a great place to live in Santa Cruz. The insides of the apartments are updated with reasonably good amenities (nothing too fancy but perfectly passable for the price range) and the rest of the complex is extremely well maintained by the amazing property manager Pedro. Seriously, he knows everything there is to know about every individual apartment and arranges fixes to problems immediately and cheerfully, which definitely helps given the above average number of plumbing issues the complex faces. The only other downsides I can think of are that it's pretty hard to actually view the river from the Riverview Apartments (you need a special key from the neighboring apartment complex), and there is no ground level bike storage or anything so you have to carry your bike upstairs all the times. Highly recommended if you see a listing!

Exceptionally hostile property manager, I would not recommend renting from this place if you have any other option.
